Game-changing miso
I have used a variety of misos over the years, and while I appreciate its uses and flavors, the high salt content has always bothered me. Enter this miso. It is like a completely different animal, creamy with a great nutty flavor but not exploding with saltiness. I could just eat it plain. Amazing product.

Bad product
The miso is a reddish brown, not white. I've read many similar reviews. If you want saikyo white miso, buy something else.

Excellent product and perfect for what I needed to make black cod.

Top notch
This type of miso is not easy to find. This stuff is great. It’s smooth and less salty than other types of white miso. It’s pricey but it’s my go-to and I highly recommend it.

Delicious sweet light miso
Excellent, delicate salty-sweet flavor, perfect for standalone miso-based sauces and marinades. Less well-suited for miso soups (except ozōni). Not interchangeable with regular white (shiro) miso.
