This is a great center punch. Ever try to drill a hole (even in a drill press) and watch your bit walk to the side a bit? Well this is your solution. Actually, I'll admit that I've never used a center punch before purchasing this one, but I wish I had bought one years ago. I bought this for creating divots to drill accurate holes in rectangular aluminum tubing. I also used it on mild steel and tried it on wood. It works great all around! To use this thing, you just put the point where you want the divot and push hard on the orange top. The internal spring compresses, and then it snaps driving the point into whatever you are trying to mark. You can screw/unscrew the end of it to increase/decrease spring tension. For metal, just leave it on the max setting. Dial it down for wood.

I am very happy with this product. I was just hoping to get a couple holes punched, but it worked great. I punched holes in the Harbor Freight One Drawer unit to do some customization, and it worked great. For the price, you can't beat it. (if you do not have hand strength, do not get this) It was not too difficult, but if you are not very strong, it may not work that great for you.

I like the punch so much, I've now purchased 2 of them. It makes marking a precise area in order to align and drill a hole easy. It's strong enough that there are times when it will punch through thinner material, but that's not always a bad thing. The design of the tool is good, and it is easy to hold and position as you're making a punch.

Makes a nice indentation as advertised but more difficult to press and trigger than expected.

The best I've used by far. I've had many different kinds of these over the years. Most wont work or dont have the power when adjusted to max. This thing works every time, even with maxed out adjustment. If your need a good reliable punch then this one i Highly recommend

I use this tool often to punch small holes into aluminum for my hand stamped jewelry. Very durable and good quality. I have smaller and slightly arthritic hands and this tool is easy and painless for me to press down on and use. I found most of the tools I tried that were actually made for aluminum jewelry were too weak and hard to use. These are great. The only thing I’d change is that they came with an even smaller hole option as I use the smallest one already. Great tool! I look forward to using all the other options for much larger projects.

This tool has come in handy for so many small projects. Keep on top of oiling the dyes though as they are prone to rusting rather quickly.

compared to the expensive branded alternatives, this is good value for money . Works well 👍

Zéér fijne en kwalitatief hoogwaardige pons. Zet een goede afdruk in hout en metaal zodat je niet uitschiet als een gaatje gaat boren. Is het geld dubbel en dwars waard.

It works, and will punch through quite strong materials. But, you need to have massive hands, or use two hands, and if you use two hands, then there is the danger of hurting your hands because of the very small gap between the handles. Incredibly fast delivery. Thank you.
