Good value engineering toy
Very good for the price. It's not a finely engineered model engine but it works and looks pretty nice. Very little assembly required and works well. Runs off a mug of hot water or a hot radiator. Unlike some Sterling engine models the heat source is not included. It produces a pleasing soft ticking sound as it runs which is quite relaxing in itself. Probably best suited for adults but could be interesting for children under supervision.

Looks good, simply and clean design
a little tricky to attach. works well with very hot to boiling water, run time is about 15 to 20 mins i have found. nice item for engineering minded people

Functional, but creaky.
It works perfectly well as a sterling engine, it just feels quite cheap. The components are light weight, almost to the point of being flimsy, and when it turns it makes a creaking noise. It would be nicer if it were silent.

Sterling engine
This product seems very well made and runs well. It is good for the price. I'm surprised it only needs to sit on a cup of hot water to work. Very interesting for the hobbiest.

Der Motor kam gut verpackt an. Er war im wesentlichen zusammengebaut. Die Endmontage war einfach und in der beiliegenden Anleitung gut erklärt. Es war sogar die Funktionsweise knapp erklärt. Die angegebene heiße Tasse Tee serviert, 60 Sekunden gewartet und lässt sich der Motor starten. Er läuft gleichmäßig mit beeindruckenden Klapper-, Schmatz- und Stampfgeräuschen. Ich habe viel Freude daran und werde ihn meiner Physik Klasse vorführen. Super Deal gerne wieder.

A simple Stirling engine that looks good and runs very nicely. I got at least 20 minutes of operation from one boiling mug of water. It came in three pieces and there are two "hooks" that need to be connected to axles and this required moderate force. It was also not quite obvious that it was supposed to be that way or how to do. So be careful and have patience.
