Works great
Iโve had this on a dump trailer maintaining two large batteries. It has worked great. I mounted the panel above the spare tire.

Updated due to Seller Response - Original Lasted less than 1 year...
Reported defective unit to seller at almost a year from original purchase, seller sent new charge unit after I attempted multiple times to get it to work again. Updated review due to seller responsiveness. Original Review: I've owned the 30W panel & charge controller exactly 1 year today... A few weeks ago, the charge controller suddenly stopped charging, registering the PV as red while in the middle of a hot sunny AZ day. Unplugged, left sit 30 mins or so, plugged back in and it worked, for another 3 days or so.. Then same thing again. So now, every 3 days, I have to unplug the charge controller from both the solar panel and the battery, wait 30 mins+, replug, rinse, repeat, and cycle... This was used to maintain a top-off charge on an RV battery - worked great for very short amount of time, now useless. And the warranty info says "contact seller for warranty" - i.e. there is no guaranteed warranty! I'll contact the seller, but have little faith they will replace the charge controller... will update review if they actually do. (note, they did - thks!)

Put it together and let it do the work
04/06/26: Arrived the next day after ordering, all parts accounted for; everthing seems to be working; going to install it on my RV to keep my battery charged while not in use; easy to put together but instructions included; provides releaf knowing that my battery won't be dead when I go to start my RV.

Perfect to charge a battery for a trailer winch.
Very nice solar panel. Used it to charge a battery powering a winch on a trailer. Battery tested 13.9 volts at standby. Great product!

Doesn't work
So I got this solar panel kit with the intent to charge my 12v riding lawn mower battery when it's not in use. I'm so glad I tested it before hooking it up. The rated voc of the panel itself is 21.6v and the isc is rated at 1.97A. When I hooked the solar panel directly to my multimeter and bypassing the 13v controller, I got a voltage of 22v, which is correct since it's rated at 21.6v. When I tested the current, I got a max of 1.1A out of the rated 1.97A, so that is barely half of what it's rated at. When I hooked up the 12v controller to the solar panels, I was pulling 22v out of it and not the 12v it was supposed to be, when I tested the current, I maxed out at .7A... Even farther off from the rated 1.97A it was rated at. Only thing I can guess is that both the solar panels and the controller is defective. Again, I am SO glad I tested it before hooking it up to my 12v battery since this is pushing 22v through it instead of 12v that it is advertised at.
