Spigen Ultra Hybrid for iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Pro Case, Crystal Clear

I’m very happy with this clear phone case. It fits the phone perfectly, providing a snug and secure fit while maintaining the original look and color of the device. I’m not a name-brand shopper, but Spigen is now an exception. I have been using this simple clear Spigen case for the past four years. I am a clumsy person. I drop my phone on average .5 times per day from varying heights. I was not expecting this skinny little case to do much of anything really. Boy was I wrong. This skinny little case is a powerhouse. Otterbox cases are nice, but if you want something relatively cheap that gives you decent protection without feeling like you’re lugging around heavy artillery, I say go for this case. Am I doing hidden internal damage to my phone with all those drops? No idea. It works about the same as it did four years ago, minus slightly faster battery drain and standard planned obsolescence on Apple’s part. No external damage. Things to note—it does yellow after a while, and my old case came apart (the plastic back panel separated from the rubber frame) after about two years, but I ran that case into the ground and it protected just as well after the separation as it did before. Yellowing is gonna be an issue with any clear case really, and this one did not yellow as fast as some others I’ve used before. The separation thing is my fault because I tend to fidget with my case by popping my phone in and out of it and also remove it a few times a week to wipe it down. All in all, this case has lasted me longer than some people’s phones. I finally caved and bought a new one, but I probably could have gone on using my old one if I was lazy. It’s a good case. Get a screen protector, though.

November 20, 2023: This is my first time buying a case. I like how the case feels: I like the way my phone feels better with this case on than without it, I definitely have a better grip on it. This case is as plain as it gets, letting you showcase your phone instead of covering it up. I know someone who is very experienced in phone cases, and they say Spigen has the best cases that money can buy. I have not dropped my phone in this particular case yet, so I can’t say how this case protects your phone from falls, however, my friend recently dropped their phone in a different Spigen case and it saved their phone. The case indeed comes above the screen and above the camera as described, it also fits like a glove. The volume buttons and the power button both have good clickability, however do I agree with another reviewer on the fact that the action button in this case does not have good clickability, in a way where you have to push harder to get the button to work, and wouldn’t be able to tell that it worked if the function didn’t show on the screen. That aside, I highly suggest this case and this company. PS: I have only had this case for a few days, so I can’t say anything about the anti-yellowing tech yet. March 21, 2024 Update: My case is has still not yellowed! January 21, 2025 Update!: My case has yellowed on the rubber frame, but not on the back. I have dropped my phone about 3 times, and every time, my phone has been protected. November 20, 2025 Update: This case is really a great value for its quality. If you want your case to protect your phone, this is it. If you want a great clear case to showcase your phone, this is it. I’m very satisfied with this brand. December 15, 2025 Update After buying for an iPhone 15 Pro Max I am not happy with this case, and surprised of it. It worked beautifully with my regular pro model. But on my new pro max, this case is too tight. And yes, I bought a pro MAX case, for sure. There are imperfections in the plastic which make it not crystal clear and it annoys me. I got my phone in this case one time, and it made me so nervous. Taking it out made me truly believe I was one small mistake from breaking my phone and cracking my screen. I'm not playing with this case anymore. I still like the brand, but I don't know what happened with this one case, just terrible. Anyways, I'm going to buy the flexible clear case and see if I have any better luck!!

Highly recommend. I’ve had this case since 2023 and am only now switching it out due to the edge coming apart. There was discoloration as is expected of a clear phone case but never severe enough where I couldn’t see my Polaroid picture on the back clearly, it was more noticeable on the edges which I did not mind. Overall great case for the price, protected my phone from many drops it’s had over the years and will purchase again since I love the look of just a clear case and get bored of colored cases. The pictures show you how well it held up for 1 month shy of 3 year everyday use of this case.

I had a $10 case on my iPhone 13 for several years. It had yellowed and was kind of bulky on the edges. Trying to get a few more years of life out of my phone and wanted a refresh, so I bought this one. Glad I spent the extra $5! This case is slim, crystal clear and the side buttons feel much nicer than my old case. Get this.

For our past few phones, my wife and I didn't put a lot of thought into it and purchased the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Spigen has been around for awhile and was a name we could trust. We always felt the Ultra Hybrid looked and offered great protection. This year we were both getting the Iphone 17 and decided to see if there was anything better. This one reviewer on Youtube built his own drop test machine so we decided to try a couple from his top 5 list. A few on his list were too expensive for a phone case like the mous limitless and others were just too bulky. We decided to try the Benks Armour Pro and Flolab Surtect matte black translucent (also full black translucent) along with my go to Spigen Ultra Hybrid, Spigen Liquid Air and a highly-rated Supfine case. Here's are opinions on the cases. Spigen Ultra Hybrid - As usual it, it looks good at a great price. It was thin but had good protection with the air pockets. My wife didn't like that the buttons weren't fully enclosed. There were gaps around the buttons allowing debris to get into the case. The camera action button also wasn't very responsive. It was also a little slippery with the frosted back and showed a lot of fingerprints. All the cases with the translucent back showed a lot of fingerprints. Spigen Liquid Air - This was the thinnest case, but we both felt it offered the least protection. This case has the best grip. It has texture on the side and back of the case. The tpu grip on the back made typing feel the best. It also has the same issues with gaps around the buttons. There's no magsafe magnet and the camera action button also wasn't very responsive. Supfine - Definitely the best the deal of all the cases. It also comes with a screen protector. It's basically the same case as the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, the only difference is the camera action button is uncovered/exposed so you get maximum responsiveness from the slider feature. The downside is that front lip next to the button is very thin and weak. Flolab - This case was the bulkiest of all the cases but not like an Otterbox. You can barely notice that it is bulkier than the other cases. It has the best drop protection, up to 13ft drops. This was the top rated case by the Youtube reviewer. It uses three materials, the tpe inside the case is the most important because it absorbs all the impact. All the buttons are plastic and fully enclosed. It has the largest front lip, but the camera lip was almost flush with the camera. The camera lip is plastic, while the other three above are tpu. The camera action button is more responsive than the Spigen cases, but not more than Supine case. My wife thinks the case looks the best of all the cases especially the full black translucent but the its also the slipperiest. Both models of the case are fingerprint magnets. Benks Armour Pro - It has a kevlar back, metal buttons, and a metal camera lip/guard. It has the most premium feel of all the cases. The metal camera lip extends a lot further than the other cases offering the best protection but the downside is that it doesn't lay flat and can scratch things. The screen lip is also very minimal which looks great, but I was worried about protection. I've already dropped it on its face and nothing broke. The camera action button slider works the best on this case and the Supfine. Conclusion - We pretty much felt the same about all the cases. The Flolab offers the best protection by far, but its very slippery. The Spigen cases were ok but nothing special. My wife didn't like that the buttons had space were dust and dirt can get in. The camera action button slider wasn't very responsive. The Supfine was the best deal of all the cases. We liked it better than the Spigen cases and it was incredibly priced. We ended up keeping it as a backup case. My wife didn't like the Benks kevlar design and ended up with the Flolab Surtec. I was going to pick the Flolab as well but found it too slippery so I choose the Benks. I feel the Benks has the best grip and feel when typing.

Handyhalterung Schrott, hat mein Handy fallen lassen. - 30 km/h!!! - ich habe angehalten und bin zu meinem Handy gelaufen. Handy lag auf dem Boden mit Display nach unten, mein Herz ist in meine Hose gerutscht, 5 Sekunden stand ich vor dem Handy und habe es mich nicht getraut umzudrehen und was war? ALLES KOMPLETT HEIL!!! Nicht mal ein Kratzer auf der Folie, lediglich die Hülle hat leichte Schürfungen.

Ever since I used spigen, I have never had to go get my phone repaired. It is the go to brand when it comes to phone cases and it is quite affordable. I like their unique technology that protects both the edges and the screen without decrease in phone use comfort
