The Best Toothbrush I Have Ever Owned! - Great Product at a Great Price!
I waited to write a review on this great toothbrush (I received it within 2-3 days of ordering) until after I saw my dentist about two days ago to confirm what I'm about to write here, and I'm happy to report that he and his staff were able to corroborate my favorable impressions: the Initio toothbrush is not only one of the best toothbrushes that I have ever owned but has also improved my oral health significantly. In particular, the fact that it has five modes--with "Sensitive" being the one that I like the most--is the product's most prominent advantage. Being able to keep the brush in my mouth for a longer period of time than with other toothbrushes in that I feel practically no pain when brushing using this mode has reduced overall plaque significantly and has even got my dentist's hygenist to comment that I was keeping the area under a permanent retainer that I have very clean. This is something that I have not been able to do for a number of years.Beyond the "Sensitive" mode, the brush is shaped in a way that it does not cause me to gag when I brush far-back teeth, which is something that NO ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH WHICH I HAVE OWNED TO DATE HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO PULL OFF! It's a pleasure to be able to brush my teeth for two minutes or more without having to worry as to whether I will trigger my sensitive gag reflex. Finally, it holds a charge for a number of days without having to be constantly plugged in, which is an energy as well as space-saver (see accompanying photo). All in all, this is a product that I will likely use for years to come and certainly comes at an affordable price (i.e., much better-priced than Sonicare or any of the other mainstream electric toothbrush brands). I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Wow! Powerful, lots of features, lightweight, matte black minimalist design, good value for money
Wow! Where do I begin?I really cannot review anything yet on the battery life, as for I haven't owned it long enough (to see if it lives up to it's claim to a 30-day battery life after a single charge.) It's a lithium battery supposedly, so it should easily last long enough to keep running a month's time. What I comment on the battery is regarding the charging process and usb cord. It's a bit different than I'm familiar with using the stand prop up chargers, this one has the power plug under the bottom/base, and the provided USB wire, came with no adapter. That's a bit common these days anyway. For me, that's fine...I don't need one, but I don't exactly like having to lay the toothbrush down on its side or back, especially to charge it. It can stand up fine on its own, if that's your preference, but be careful about where you place it because the charger port hole is located there and it's likely not going to like standing in a wet location for periods of time. Not a deal breaker though, as for it's brush heads have good cover caps and it's IPX7 waterproof. It's unbelievably effective tool for getting your teeth clean, remove build up of plaque and tartar, and also very polished.I've been using electronic toothbrushes for years now...(and while it's been several years since I've bought a newer model with updated features that accompany many toothbrushes similar to this kind),— I'm accustomed to a simple power on/of button and charging stand. That no matter how clean and careful you are, you're probably cleaning the stand constantly due to the bizarre and gross buildup they do quickly aquire! Ew. Or knocking it over by mistake! My experience with this electric toothbrush actually made me enthusiastic about brushing my teeth. The Initio Sonic Electric Toothbrush IT-959, otherwise, lives up to its claims. In summary:PROS:- Powerful, yet still comfortable cleaning!- Multiple great features to press as buttons on the hand-held location of brush.- The "polish" feature is unbelievable— reminiscent of just leaving a dental cleaning visit, and running your tongue around your smooth as ever feeling teeth!- There's a "whitening" button that also seems to work, and will be even better over a period of time. I did notice slight changes in the whiteness of my teeth on only about a week.- Very lightweight & easy to use! The straight form factor design is actually better than a slightly curved one. I really like the way it feels to hold when brushing.- The black matte, with a very subtle texture is just the perfect amount to hold the toothbrush without worry of it slipping out of your grasp.Compared to my older (big name brand) electric toothbrush, this one is so much lighter and easier to maneuver. It's so light it feels cheap at first, until you use it! It works excellent.-Very minimal looking design. It's nice, especially in the black color.- Great value for the money.- It comes with 2 extra brush heads with color coded bands in a bright blue and pink.- meets IPX7 standards waterproofCONS:- There's no charging "stand"(or any stand to keep it propped upright standing) to place your toothbrush on. That, to me, was a bit of a bummer. At the same time, this one is streamlined and slim, and probably will fit fine in a basic toothbrush holder, if that's your thing.-It's probably best to stock up on brush head refills while you can on Amazon, being unknown or rather uncertain as to whether it will stay in stock long term? I don't know, I've never purchased a "no- name" toothbrush before requiring replacement heads.

Wow! Awesome toothbrush & extremely long battery life!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely LOVE this toothbrush! It's the first one I've owned that actually works & has an extremely long battery life! I charged it when I got in around mid January, use it twice a day for 2 minutes each time and haven't needed to charge it until yesterday. This time, I'm going to see how long it takes before the battery is completely dead before I charge it again. I love the different settings on it & until I got used to using it, I only used it on the "sensitive" setting. After about 2 weeks or so, I switched to the "white" setting & also use the "clean" setting as well. I haven't traveled recently so I can't say anything about using it while traveling but I highly doubt that I'd have any issues with it! I highly recommend this electric toothbrush!! It comes with 3 different heads (not really sure what the differences are between them, cover for each head (I suppose to use while traveling), small instruction manual & a nice long charging cord! Will update my review in a few months!

It's a vibrator
This electric toothbrush is basically a vibrator with bristles. The brush portion doesn't rotate or anything, it just vibrates at high speed. That said, it does a good job. The five "modes" are really just five speeds. The two slowest ones alternate speeds back and forth between high and low, which sounds like a French police car siren. I use the middle setting, for no particular reason. When you are brushing your teeth, the device will pause every 30 seconds, to let you know how long you've been brushing, and at 2 minutes it shuts off completely, to let you know you've brushed enough. When you turn the brush off after using it, the five mode lights indicate the battery strength--all five glowing means a full charge, and as the battery goes down fewer lights come on. The battery lasts about a month for me, and I brush twice a day. Once you choose a speed you prefer, when you turn the brush off and then turn it back on, it goes back to the speed you were last using. Overall, it is an effective toothbrush, but nothing fancy.

Dejo de funcionar en 10meses
The media could not be loaded. Muy fácil de usar, el problema es que dejó de funcionar a los 10 meses de uso…No está claro el tema de la garantía
