Decided to buy this less reviewed product over the more reviewed one. The other ones complained of having to trim/slot 2x12s to fit the brackets and these were countersunk. These fit my 2x12 with slight room to spare (which I prefer). Everything I expected and hoped for. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star rating is because one bracket is under bent and not a true 90°. I'm not going to return these, but if I get sent a replacement I'll change my review to 5 star for sure.Also, the magnetic level they included doesn't feel cheap. Bonus points for that.Edit: The seller reached out to me on their own and sent me a replacement! Excellent product and excellent customer service! Changed my review to 5 stars!

These brackets are solid. Went on easily. Holding very well. I didn't use the screws they provided because I wanted to use longer ones, but what came with it seemed fine for most applications.Only knock is slight variation in the bend of some of the brackets. This is 100% to be expected with this kind of metal brackets, but more just to warn someone to prepare for it if they're doing something extremely precise. Once shelves were on, it wasn't a problem for me.

Sturdy. But why the hell is there a 1 1/4" lip? Good God... i have to find 5/4 to JUST be flush, that's before i have to plane it down.I'm a professional. Im not going to use a 2x12. That's the DIY crap that sets us apart from high quality vs scrap lumber laying in my garage.I wish they would given the dimensions for the massive lip. It's quite a hindrance that I can't use an exotic wood with these.

Buy these, mount them to studs, go to a big box store, pick out 12" lumber, have the store cut your boards to length for your shelf...Go home and place on brackets.Done.Anything over 36" shelf size and I'd recommend 3 brackets per shelf. (if you are holding up actual weight)Two shelf brackets on a 36" shelf holding up about 100 pounds was my application for a heavy computer and larger bookshelf speakers.Included mounting hardware was mediocre at best.The included mini level is a nice touch.If I needed more of these I would buy these again.

This is a sturdy product and perfect for my project- however the description states it will fit the average 12 inch shelf from Home Depot and mine did not. We had to cut about 1/2 inch off the back of the shelves. I didn’t have the needed saw for that so running around to get that done was a pain- but so worth it! I love how the shelves look and the hardware is just plain beefy! Comes with a little level and anchors and screws but we used our own.

This definitely does not fit a 1x 12 board. Not sure how this worked for the other reviewers. Very frustrating.

I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because if you look at the product details it does in fact say that these are 11.25" brackets but the title clearly says 12" brackets. And before you think it's an inner-radius/outer-radius thing, the OUTER-RADIUS is 11.25" so if you have a plank you're trying to float that is greater than 11" look elsewhere.

The brackets are sturdy enough to hold up an 80 pound PC provided you secure them properly (i.e. not screwing them directly to drywall). The brackets ship with a small leveling tool which I found very useful as I for some reason didn't already have one.
