ART Splitcom Pro 2 Way Microphone Splitter and Combiner, Monitor

This worked great to split my signal for my monitoring and main stage system

If you have a drummer with two kick drums, but only one channel for a kick, this will help you immensely. You can even use this to blend two rack tom mics together to save channels. If you're a keyboardist with two keys, you can join them together into one signal to send to the sound guy. But what makes it really helpful, is if you're using in-ear monitors. You plug your mic into this guy. You plug the FOH mic cable into this guy so the sound guy gets your signal uninterrupted. Then you plug your IEM setup into this guy, to give exactly the same signal to yourself with full control. This little box makes stage life easier. Best kept secret in stage sound.

Bought this to combine matched mics but unfortunately it doesn't pass phantom power to both sides so it doesn't fit our needs. Works fine as a splitter though where phantom power isn't an issue.

very useful if you need to split a single mic to recorder and onto PA... seems to work other way too... tested recording...with it too so that is ok... NOT recommended for serious mics...tho... only recommended for typical usd 100 dollar mics or cheaper. WARNING UPDATE DO NOT USE 48Vdc condensers on this thing.... does the job at least for dynamics and ribbons...tho have fun

I used this with a Presonus rack mount system and JBL Subs/Mains. The way I utilized this is I sent an AUX feed to this unit, then split it to each of the subs. This way I could only send the low stuff (Bass Drum, Toms, Bass, Keyboards) to that channel. This kept all of the bottom end out of the mains which really helped keep the sound super clean and crisp. No more muddy stuff over the vocals and guitars. I highly recommend.

Poor Quality, Issues with hum no matter what orientation I ran my mics, could not isolate properly or combine properly, which is what it was made to do...poor product

I bought this to split the DI output on my Fishman Loudbox Mini acoustic amp so I can output to a PA system as well as wired in ear monitors. It works flawlessly. Great sound quality. If you want to do the same, your DI output must be 'mic level'. Your amplifier's manual should tell you this info.

I bought this to isolate my wireless mic transmitter from the house system. When the house uses their mic I want to transmit the sound to my audio system before they add extra effects. But when you split a mic signal the impedence changes and it gets tinny sounding and loses volume. This box isolates the house input/output so you don't modify their signal with your connection. BUT, I did hear a pop when I connected my wireless to the box on a live signal- I did not think that should have happened as I was isolated. I can live with the connection issue but I am very happy to not modify their signal.
