Rago Style 821 - Women's Waist Trainer

The black is the Rago 821 L/30 (the corset for sale on this page).The white is the Rago 21 M/28. Yes, two different styles.The 821 is labeled as a "firm shaping girdle", and the 21 is a "waist cincher" according to the manufacturer. Google it.Both have one set of hook and eyes down the front.I have a natural and very squishy 35" waist, 33" underbust, and am short-waisted. I'm 4' 11" tall.The M/28 fits around my underbust, but fits a little tight around the waist. Not very comfortable, but it really gives me a vintage look.The L/30 fits comfortably around my waist, but makes my "poof" escape through the top of the corset. This corset in this size is VERY comfortable for me. Unfortunately there is no real vintage shaping. It would be good for regular "jeans and tshirt" wear to help keep things under control as long as I hike it up to just under my boobs.

This is my 2nd Rago waist trainer. The first lasted a good 4 years although I should have replaced it a year ago as it started to make my waist look a little mishappen as the stays started to get a bend in them. I tried cheaper versions in between but as another reviewer pointed out, the bands on the side are what really pulls your waist in. This takes 1-3 inches off my waist but I have a “kangaroo” belly and the trainer smooths the surface of the front but doesn’t really flatten me. For that I have to resort to diet and ab work. I am 5’3” and 148lbs. I ordered a large. I could use a slightly shorter trainer for my torso. It is comfortable to wear all day and is effective in bring your sides in. I noticed though with this one that if wearing something clingy, e.g. t shirt or jersey maxi dress, you do see the seam where the front hooks. Don’t remember that being an issue with my first one. Rago really needs to provide a trainer with more than a single row of hooks because it does stretch with wear and it would be nice to be able to go tighter without having to buy one size down.

OMG! Now this here is the most comfortable Waist trainer I have ever wore. I wear it for 10-12 hours a day and completely forget I have it on. The steel bones are flexible and don't dig into your skin like most others do and it is very breathable. I also find it even more comfortable when I wear it over a light tank top as opposed to wearing it over bear skin as sweat makes me itch (eww I know!) so far I have worn it consistently for two and a half months now and when I started my waistline was 39 inches and I am now down to 33 which to me is a huge improvement. Also this waist trainer has an immediate effect and by that I mean it literally sucks you in and gives you a better shape than if you didn't have it on. Now I am not saying it will give you a 22 inch waist right away, but it will definitely give you a better silhouette for sure. I ordered mine in a medium the first time around and have been wearing that for a little over 2 months and just recently ordered on in a small as my waistline is going down. Also remember good diet and exercise even if it's just cardio once or twice a week greatly enhances the effects of the waist trainer.

I ordered a size smaller per the sizing chart and at first I thought I would not be able to get it latched up. Since I was trying to lose weight I wanted to be sure that it fit snug to pull in my stomach even after I lost a few pounds. After losing just a little weight, it fits surprisingly comfortable. I often wear it underneath my costumes. Even though I only wear mine for certain occasions where I want to be sure my stomach stays in place, it is wearable for everyday. This one does an AMAZING job and will make you look like a completely different person. Since I rely on this so much, I plan to order a second one just to have on hand as an extra.Update: 11/27/18 This corset is really a life saver! I paid $27.45 for mine in 2017 and it is well worth every penny. I need to order a second one just to have on hand because that is how much I depend on this waist cincher. This is surprisingly comfortable and it appears seamless under your clothes so no one will know you are even wearing it. I do recommend ordering a size down/size smaller than the sizing chart suggests if you are planning to actually use it to cinch your waist. If I had ordered the size it suggested I do not think I would have been happy with this. For my last event, I panicked because I could not find mine until the very last moment. This really makes a difference - sucks your tummy in like magic. I admire Britney Spears because she takes such good care of her body and when I put this on, it is like an instant Britney Spears waist without having to do the one-thousand sit-ups! Though, I think that will be my goal next year - so, thank you Britney for your get strong and fit inspiration. When I go to events, I cannot eat beforehand unless I am wearing this to ensure a flat tummy (as much as possible). Before my last event (November 2018) I had gained some weight (I am a writer and my calorie count seems to go up with my word count, especially during National Novel Writing Month in November, NaNoWriMo.org. That coupled with a skinny dress, even though the corset did pull my tummy in, was not enough. Lesson learned here - quit eating at my writing desk and add extra workouts during National Novel Writing Month in November.

Felt great in this, really seemed to smooth out the wobbly bits. Unfortunately since it has the bra type fastenings down the front it cant be worn with a tight fitting top but under my 60's style wedding dress it was perfect :)

If you want to look that little bit extra sizzling in your outfit this product is the best. I wear them nearly all the time and this one is the best I've ever had. Five star without any doubt !

This came out too large, the sizing chart had me all confused. the material is soft and the bones are made of plastic which clearly shows they'll bend easily. I'm sending it back.

It's comfortable , I think it should be tighter just a little bit. In general it's good.
