Honeywell TH2110DV1008 PRO 2000 Vertical Programmable Thermostat

We were unsure if this would work for our needs, but decided to go out on a limb because it was really the only option we could find. We needed a vertical thermostat that would fit over our existing electrical box and needed something programmable that would work on a millivolt system. We switched from a non programmable thermostat to this. I didn't like how the fireplace just ran all night long even though everyone was asleep and no one was using the space. Wasting gas and money. This works for our needs. It only serves to turn on and off our gas fireplace.

Exactly what we needed. Arrived a day early! Our thermostat stopped working. Just a blank screen and could do find this particular model anywhere local. Thank goodness for Amazon.

Bought to replace my 13 yo Honeywell thermostat that was not reading the correct ac temp. Easy to install and is working perfectly

The wiring is a bit different than the original (from 2010), but easy enough for me to figure out. The mounting points were also just different enough that I waited for my son to show up with his electric drill/screwdriver to mount it. In order to utilize the larger hole for wiring already in the wall it is mounted ever so slightly crooked, but really only noticeable if you’re looking for it. It works better than the original ever did, so I’m quite pleased with my purchase.

Very pleased with this product. It's simple, utilitarian, and the display gives accurate and well-illuminated information. I live in a condo with forced air heating. I wanted a product that would cycle the heater on and off. This unit does just that: heat on at 6am, lowered/off by 8am, then on again at 5pm to warm up the place prior to my arrival, and reduced heat by 10pm when I'm off to bed. The default readout is the ACTUAL room temp. The green light is bright and clear when the room is pitch black. I highly recommend if you're looking for a no-frills thermostat that's easy to install and use.
