Installation was quick and easy, requiring just a few screws to be removed. While I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, the product worked perfectly once installed. The only difference I noticed was with the push-to-ignite mechanism—it’s slightly shorter in overall length. Since the original part was interchangeable, I reused it. Otherwise, everything matches up well. I still gave it 5 stars for the great price. I’m guessing OEM would have cost nearly double. Would definitely buy again.

Product was identical to the OEM starter. Instructions were very good. No problems installing. Works great. Make sure that the end of the spark wire is directly over the center of the burner so the spark goes into the slit on the burner. One of mine was off center and the spark did not ignite the propane. The other 3 worked. Once it was centered it ignited immediately!

Exact replacement for my Weber grill, no issues with installation.

This replacement ignitor works great, like new. The only problem was one of the elements did not work, no spark. Reading other feedback I saw that sometimes you may need to fidget with the spark element, bending it carefully away from the burner ever so slightly until it works. Be sure to have gas off when adjusting!Only other thought is that the directions were very thorough and easy to follow; however, in hindsight there were some unnecessary steps in the process which could be removed. Now, let's just see how long the product works 😊

Perfect replacement and easy to install

The igniter on my 12 year old Weber grill stopped working. I tried replacing the batteries etc. I thought I would give this kit a try and it worked. The instructions are all pictures, no text. This is fine as far as it goes,but I suggest watching a youtube video prior to installing. My one comment is that the instructions have you doing a lot more than is required--taking off the doors, the top, etc. All you really need to do is remove the panel and hardware near the igniter and knobs. The whole project took about 30 minutes.

I bought a 11 year old Genesis 300 at a garage sale. The previous owner left the battery in the igniter and it had corroded, so I had to replace it. This replacement went on without any issues and worked like a champ.

I purchased this ignition kit on October 5, 2025. Today is January 8, 2026 and I can barely get a spark out of it. Of course I changed the battery but that made no difference at all. I am VERY disappointed.

Works well, seeing it came from the USA the delivery time was very impressive.

These sparkers don't seem to secure well to the burner tube and keep sliding and thereby they do not light the burner tube sometimesThis sometimes causes a dangerous delay of gas buildup before it lights from the neighboring burner tube
