Outstanding knife. A great tool at a good price.
Quality is outstanding. Lightweight, thin handle, good grippiness, and perfect grinds. Just all-around great craftsmanship and utility. And I personally think the Wharncleaver looks pretty badass. I got the D2 version, and so far it performs and strops like good D2 around 60-ish HRC. Light, useful EDC shaped blade, long-wearing D2, decent price. Are there other brands and knives out there offering D2 for bit cheaper? yep. But this is right up there in quality, and isn't a lot more. Since much of knife selection is about what appeals to you, I mean, c'mon, after 1 pocketknife it is really about the joy and appeal (unless you got a main and a backup), this knife has an appeal. And I might say it has something that many other knives don't. They might have the same, or even a bit better, fit and finish, or a thinner grind, or a number of many things. I have found that many knives just don't have character, or a soul, if you will. This one has that in Spades. If you like it, buy it, you won't regret it. If you aren't sure, and the looks don't grab you and another one does, then buy the other one. If you think it looks too cheap, rethink things. It is rugged, with a thin, contoured handle that is basically tough fancy plastic covering full liners. It is as rugged as any good linerlock, and it will perform. If you are mad it doesn't come in Damasteel and Timascus, then you should probably pass. But you weren't even looking at this little beauty, were ya?All in all, a great little knife. Not the cheapest, in every sense of the word, but of high quality, dependable usefulness, and an outstanding EDC capability. And it looks cool. Honey Badger don't care though.

GREAT Knife!!!
This is my second Honeybadger knife. I lost my first one and quickly realized how much I routinely used it and valued its design. So, I had to have a replacement. The cleaver shape is fantastic and the D2 blade really holds a sharp edge. The pocket clip is the most durable of any knife I have ever owned. The ball bearing flipper works smoothly. I highly recommend this knife. Buy this knife! You’ll love it!

Wharncleaver style blade great
I think Honey Badger knives are great and well made over all. Once in a while one is going to leave the production line not so great. The medium Wharncleaver I ordered was one of those. The flipper did not deploy the blade all the way open. I had to flip it open and when i did that the liner lock stuck, locking the blade in the open position. It took two hands to close the blade. I deployed the blade several times and had the same experience each time. Returned the knife. I still think it is a good knife and worth buying. If it doesn't meet your expectations send it back and order another one until it does. And remember, Honey Badger don't care! Also, it has one of the best knife warrantees available.

Fantastic knife for the price
I own many high-end knives and must admit that this inexpensive honey badger line are some of my favorite blades. I own two,one medium size and one small. They come wicked Sharp and even though the steel isn't that high end they're super easy to sharpen and get to a razor's edge. For less than $40 you simply cannot go wrong with one of these knives. Action is super crisp and the lockup is tight. Highly recommended!

Great Slicer
Lightweight, super sharp, so nice, had it for a month before it disappeared from work, haha. Will buy another and definitely keep in pocket.Update 6/2/24Well knife turned up at work, used it lightly, the lock failed, became wedged between blade and frame making it unsafe. Threw it out, sticking to $20 cheapo knives.

Great Knife BUT… you have to read my whole review
This knife was awesome. Felt great in the hand. Great make and material and was pretty sharp out of the box. HOWEVER the tip chipped off after one of my first few uses… BUT it must’ve been a dud. Sent that back to Amazon and got a Honey Badger Drop Point Black (L) and this knife is amazing. Slices paper out of the box, beautiful blade, perfect size. From the other reviews I’m sure the first Wharncleaver I received was bunk. These knives are great and preform excellent. But, I cannot speak to their quality control in my sample of 2 knives.
