Super Loud Solid Brass Hand Call Bell

Very helpful. My elderly father injured himself in a fall and needs someone close by when he wants to get up from his bed or chair or needs us to bring him something. He wears an in-house call button to summon me or my husband when we are not within hearing distance. However, the call button has been known to fail once or twice. This bell is a great back-up for peace of mind if that should happen again. It is easy to see, easy to grasp and solid but not heavy. The ringing tone is loud and clear; we joke that the entire neighborhood will know he has to use the bathroom if he would ever use it at night! A very good, basic solution, and totally non-tech!

Best & loudest bell, especially if u need to be alerted clear across the house from an elder! I ordered 2 other brands that failed us but this is a winner so reordered 2 more so now 3 r in different rooms.

I love this bell! It's loud, but has a beautiful, clear sound. It also feels very sturdy and well-made. I've started using this regularly to call people to the table for homeschool and meals so I'm not shouting anymore.

Absolutely a quality product. Much better product than the cheaper cow bells. I purchased the bell for my spouse who has been silenced by a stroke.

It works good for in home use, but would not be good for traveling over a loud crowed of people. The description makes it sound like it's as loud as one of those dinner bell triangles. It's loud but not that loud. It's difficult for some kids to use because the bell clapper is on a free flow chain. In other words, the chain will spin around the inside of the bell up against the wall of it causing the clapper to roll around the sides instead of clap the sides. Think of it like a hola hoop. You have to ring the bell in a certain way to keep it from doing that. We bought it for my son to use when he's sick so he doesn't have to try calling out to us when he needs something. It's taking him time to figure out how to get it to ring properly instead of hula hoop, but he'll eventually get it. As a bonus of it being on a chain, however, you are able to carry it around without making noise by holding the bell upside down so that the clapper chain is collapsed inside the bell. We are satisfied with this product.

My mom is a senior. We put this in her room so she can ring it if she needs help in the night time. This bell is well made and loud enough to wake someone. Gives us peace of mind.

So I received my bell, it was a weird design as it jingles at an angel, sounded brilliant- so the big day of the event I entered a room of 150 people ringing my bell, by the third ring it flew apart leaving nothing to hold but the wooden handle, I left the debris on the floor and did my Santa thing, later as I left the waitress gave me all the pieces in a cup and I went home to store a scathing review! But when I arrived home I reassembled the bell from hell! With a few simple tools - the bell is ready for action, Sounds like a bell ! Solid and ready for round two! So if you read this so far....make sure it's tight and you have yourself a nice bell! No doubt things loosen with travel - so be sure you tighten everything!
