The stick installed without issue. The ram was immediately recognized by my PC. This stick can run up to 3200mhz. My motherboard only supports 2933mhz. The stick paired perfectly with my existing ram and everything is running at 2933mhz. There is a noticeable difference in speed and total performance. Happy with everything and would definitely buy more crucial when I am ready for more upgrades.

For the most part Dual Rank Memory can be used in conjunction with Single Rank Memory, and in some cases when using a large amount of memory such as 16GB, servers motherboards actually require you to use a mix of Single and Dual Rank Memory.
