Works great, simple, straightforward design. Sturdy. Easy to unbox & set up. Before setting up CD WiFi, ensure printer is ON (bc it will do Energy Saving on its own and turn off). Also, when unpacking, be sure not to touch the little brown cork paper pick-up wheel even once for half a second or it will get oily and won’t be able to pick up paper. Huge paper holder tray! A Message to Canon, HP & Brother: y’all have been a monopoly and gotten waaaay too big fer yer britches!! All ur printers and Customer Service personnel suck. HP now thinks it can DICTATE that you will order their ink CONSTANTLY and won’t let u take advantage of cartridge refilling services like at Costco. Canon’s PDF maker and ADF are absolutely worthless, BUT they give u a bunch of unnecessary software that slows everything else down. These Big Three printer companys’ CEOs are sitting around in the Bahamas with their mistresses while numbskulls run their businesses and products into the ground. They couldn’t care any LESS about their customers being bilked and spending half their lives on the phone with Customer Service trying to make their ever-more-cheaply made products perform basic functions. UPDATE: February 2020 - STILL LOVE THIS PRINTER. If it ever loses its WiFi scanner connection (like after a power outage), you may get a popup message in Chinese on your computer screen (do not panic), plug the printer into your computer via the USB cord and simply goto the website and download the latest printer driver (maybe even save that to your desktop for future quick access). After the driver is installed, you can remove the USB cord. One time my print jobs were getting hung up, so I had to go into Control Panel under Devices and re-choose this printer, like it lost the right printer selection. They used to have 1 Year Tech Help, but now it’s only 90 days. I highly recommend getting the Extra Warranty.

As stated in other reviews, the Pantum ALL-IN-ONE printer is a GREAT product for the money. I purchased this printer, based solely upon other reviews, to replace a fairly new, and very lightly used, Brother ink-jet ALL-IN-ONE, that failed to operate when needed, for its scan function, at a CRITICAL time. The Pantum printer arrived, the next day, very well packaged, with a pre-installed toner cartridge. The printer appears to be well built (for its price point). It operates very well, with excellent print quality equaling the leading brands. The 12-page Installation Manual is not especially well executed. Of those 12-pages, the manual devotes 9 of them to the various means of obtaining and installing the driver software. My printer came with the driver on CD-ROM, rendering most of the manual's information as un-necessary. However, one important point is mentionable. In the manual, the toner cartridge is listed as a separate item, requiring the usual preparation for installing. In my printer the cartridge was pre-installed. Note that the machine WILL NOT function until the cartridge is removed, cleared of shipping tapes, etc., and re-installed into the cartridge bay. All-in-all, I'm very satisfied with the Pantum all-in-one, and positively rate it a 5-star product. Pantum manufactures a broad product line. As other reviewers have said, I too, am done with the self-named high-cost industry leaders.

Only actually used this printer, purchased in June/July, very little so far (late November) due to frustrating set-up problems with my tablet. Finally got totally fed up and went the desktop pc connection route - took me maybe 5 minutes to do that! It seems to work really well, a few seconds delay before starting to print but then spits out a page fast. Not as dark as I want and haven't found the setting in the clunky menu to make it darker. Also the page comes out with a noticeable curl from feeding through the printing process. For usage I might be inclined to give it 4 stars (menu has too much room for improvement, page curl) but the frustration with not being successful connecting it to my tablet, which I use far more than my desktop pc now, far outweighs how well it works. When trying to print from my tablet, the app on my tablet says connected, I click to print a doc, the printer screen lights up and says Printing... but nothing happens and the printer goes back to sleep. I did not try any form of customer service for help, after reading other reviews about non-English speaking customer service - thought that might add to my frustration level rather than help it. I'd like to see the company hire a true US-English speaking employee to put the instructions into real usable English - they are clearly written by somebody who knows enough of the language to string a bunch of words together, but not enough to actually explain the steps necessary. Or else the instructions are just plain faulty and need to be updated, which is also a possibility. Summary, when it's working I actually love? it!, but the high frustration and lack of success using it with my tablet far outweighs even the functioning, when forced to turn on my pc if I want to print something.

For the persons having issues with using their app ---> you can download and easily install your print driver at https://global.pantum.com/global/drive/m6552nw/ I am a graphic designer and have been a print manager for years (using digital presses, used canon copiers, Epson, HP --you name it). I needed a basic 1-color (black) toner printer for my home office. This purchase checks all of the boxes. The print quality and construction is decent --actually expected it to not be as good as what I received because of the cost (it is not best of the best but not crap either). I plan to run this lill unit till the wheels fall off and replace it again (since these are priced so low). Also, the toner cartirige It wasn't bad to setup. The app that they have is geared for making it easy to print on phones and ipads (the app will not run on anything else). Other computers and laptops you will need to install a printer driver (just like any other printer). We have install the app on an iphone and 3 different android phones, a macbook air and on a brand new imac running Big Sur. Happy Printing!!! Very happy with this purchase.

I got tired of all the scamming by the big printer companies. When a typical, garbage company printer runs out of a color, lets say yellow, you are forced to buy another yellow even though the printer options are now set to print only in black. Why would I need a yellow to print in black? O yeah, because it's a SCAM! Purchase a yellow and a month later the printer says it's out of red. Red however is not empty, it's clogged, SCAM! Buy a new red and soon printer says its out of blue. How can it be out of blue when I never made a color picture since using up all the yellow? SCAM!. Well, no more scams with the Pantum! After prepping the printer (remove security tape, pull the ink safety strip, load with paper) I connected it to an older Mac running OSX 10.7.5 Turned machine on, placed paper to be copied and pressed "copy." TADAA! It printed quick and beautifully. Downloaded the drivers from the included CD into the hard drive. Opened an email and clicked "print." TADAA! It printed! This is a no B.S. machine. Super simple to set up, super simple to use, looks great, prints great, prints fast! Paid only $109 (Nov 2019) and it came with a starter ink cartridge. Display showed 3 out of 5 "bars" for the included cartridge. Since a new cartridge gives around 1,600 pages the included cartridge, if the display bars are correct, should print 640-960 pages (320 per bar) A new 1,600 page cartridge costs around $45. That's a great price considering the estimated pages it can print. Hopefully aftermarket companies will start producing cartridges and bring that price down even further. The greatest thing about this printer is NO STUPID COLOR! No more color scamming! I did not set up the wireless feature since I won't be using it so no comments on that. The only negative I can think of is the paper tray which is not internal. Still, this is not so bad because an internal tray would add more bulk and im sure a higher price tag. If you want an awesome machine that simply works and doesn't SCAM, the Pantum ROCKS!

Lived abroad in Asia for 11 years, the idea that tech in Asia is advanced is a misunderstanding. HARDWARE is top notch. SOFTWARE is subpar, especially when it comes to UI (User Interface). That's why Asian phones are using Android (US product from Google). This printer is much the same. Great print quality, especially for the price. The physical hardware is great. The one caveat is the keypad and its digital screen. They could have done so much more with this i.e. more ability to have control over the printer, WiFi setup, etc. This keypad doesn't do much. Instead, you have to rely on the horrible app, and you have to rely on proper installation from your computer and hope that you can access the settings that you want (much more difficult from a Mac). Setup is easier (not easy, per se, because the software isn't great) on Windows. Much more difficult on Mac. Download links initially were dead ends. Some weird Chinese sites that didn't work, and they were only for Android, NOT iOS App Store. The software for Windows worked, somewhat, but the first go it wouldn't set up the WiFi properly. Had to run it a couple times. Trying to connect the app (from both iOS and Android) to the printer also took several attempts. My biggest problem was trying to turn on duplex printing (double-sided) from a Mac. I think it's easier on Windows. Either way, I don't think the printer does it automatically. You have to go and flip the pages and run it through the printer again to get print on the backside. This isn't detailed anywhere, so I'm just letting you know. Still, good bang for the buck. I went with a cheap laser printer because my parents don't print that often, and they keep ruining printers as a result. Lots of dried printheads. In order to address that, I went with a laser printer, and considering their usage, I think this fits the bill, and for the right price. Additional note, all documentation that is in English is not great. Clearly, English as a second language people translated this. I was on the phone with tech support and their English wasn't great either (my guess is it was outsourced to India), and the connection was horrible so it either kept breaking up, or the connection kept getting lost. Frustrating. When I wrote an email to tech support, they did address my issue, but it wasn't perfect, and again, the English was suspect. Just an FYI. Oh, and my first order, the printer cartridge did not work so I had to return the whole printer and order a new one.

Got this printer today and am quite pleased already. Spent hours and hours comparing Brother and HP printers only to come to the conclusion the newer models aren't built like they used to be and now have a chip so you can only use their brand of cartridges. Then I came across this brand and went for it based on price and various reviews. Not a lot of info on this up-and-coming brand, but they're definitely a competitor to the big 3. No regrets so far. Unboxing and set up were fairly simple. Images on directions were a little small and mixed with other languages, but easy enough to figure out. PC set up and Android app were also fairly easy. Just connect to PC via included USB, insert CD and one click install. WiFi automatically pairs through the computer, so no need to mess with printer settings. This printer does not work with 5G router connections, so be sure to switch to 2.4G if you have any troubles. Printed 150 pages right away and went very smooth and quick. Toner level didn't go down to all, although the included cartridge registered 3 out of 5 bars of fullness. Perhaps they have a high-capacity version that is all 5. The paper tray is a bit odd and is always exposed, but reels through smoothly. If you plan on using infrequently and storing it, you will have to remove the paper to fold up completely. Haven't used the scan function or anything extensive, but for simple printer needs for college (printing PowerPoints, class work, etc.) without the cost and hassle of inkjet, this works great. For a laser printer with WiFi, auto-feed scanner and just over $100 it really can't be beat. Plus the refills are about half the price of other brands! Will update if any issues arise in the future.

I unpacked the printer and set it up for wireless-only printing and it worked just fine. At least it seemed to I only printed one or two pages but it did print. I order a USP cable that was long enough to reach my computer. After hooking up the USB the computer saw the printer and downloaded the drivers like plug and play should work but when I went to print it would say printing document and make a noise like it was trying to print but it never would print again and the wireless would no longer work. I called product support and since it was a third-party transaction Amazon just issued me a refund and a QRC to return it to the UPS store. I received the refund and now I'm going to go with a trusted brand like HP or Brother. I'm very disappointed because I really wanted this thing to work especially for the price.

Facile da configurare e ad installare il wifi da usare col smartphone. Uso spesso stampare tramite smartphone e sono contenta di aver scelto questa stampante laser invece del solito stampante col colori che non usavo quasi mai e che costavano una fortuna. Dopo 4 mesi di testi ed immagini perfetti per circa 1500 pagine..oggi ho cambiato toner (operazione facilissima). Sono contentissima. Toner facile da trovare. L'unica cosa e che tramite l'APP non mi fa stampare doppia faccia perciò devo stampare prima le pagine pari, girare le carte e poi stampare quelle dispari..non le fa in automatica col smartphone ma col pc funziona perfettamente automaticamente.

I've owned Pantum printers for over 10 years now and I've owned other brands as well. The savings in ink cartridges alone, over those years, has been enough to keep buying PANTUM. While my other brands of printers constantly change their cartridge format so that their older ones never fit their new machines, PANTUM has kept their cartridge style consistent. That means that the 5 cartridges I bought 2 years ago STILL fit into the new PANTUM printer that I just bought for my daughter to use at college. The print quality is great, the scanning ability and the small footprint make it a go-to printer for home, college or small office. I give my highest recommendations to the brand and to this printer.

Ich wollte einen Drucker/Scanner/Kopierer "wie früher". Ohne irgendwelche Installationen und Apps etc. , ich brauche und will diesen WLAN Kram nicht (obwohl das Gerät dies ja auch kann). Ausgepackt, Transportsicherungen entfernt, Strippen gestöpselt, angeschaltet, gedruckt. So solls sein. Funktionierte alles auf anhieb. Bin sehr glücklich mit meinem Kauf.

Stampa un pò lenta, ma il risparmio di toner rispetto ad una laser è altissimo. Stampa in modalità wifi molto semplice, mai avuto problemi di connessione. Unica pecca è la rimozione dei fogli inceppato che non è sempre semplice
