Two things stand out about this clock kit: the first was the variety of hands to choose from and, once installed with a battery, the continuous, smooth movement of the second hand in lieu of the spastic jump every second. It looks and works great in the old housing that I wanted to keep for sentimental reasons.

I have had this chicken clock on the wall of my laundry room for ten years. My grandmother gave it to me before she died. It stopped working about 8 years ago and I dont have the heart to throw it out. I took a chance and bought these clock works and guess what... It Works again!!! Very easy to install and keeps perfect time.

This clock mechanism functions well and is very quiet (it doesn't tick). My only issue is that I did not actually measure how large the old hands on my clock are and these are quite small. They still work, but they do not move over the numbers like my old ones did. Because this mechanism works so well, I have not bothered to take the time to look for one with longer hands.

This set is so convenient and easy to put together. Comes with simple instructions and lots of hand options (although I used my existing hands). Took 5 mins to put together. I did have to watch it for a few minutes to make sure it worked, as it doesn't have a second hand ticking sound (and I don't use a second hand) like my old movement.

Was looking for clock hands for a odd size clock face. This item offers several styles and looks great. It also keeps time very well. I'm glad to have found this as I have been looking for years.

The order arrived early and was well packaged. I'm pleased with the quality and value. I only needed 1 clock to replaced a damaged one on a thrift store saw blade clock that I had purchased for $3.00. With this kit I have repaired the clock and I am into it for about $10.00 in total. I now have a spare for another project. The clock was easy to replace with very good instructions.

The replacement parts worked well and were very easy to assemble. Directions were clear and concise.

We had been gifted this Bulova clock over 20yrs ago. Unfortunately it “disappeared” under some furniture and upon rediscovery we found that the AA battery had leaked into the clock mechanism. Cleaning did not restore the made in Germany quartz movement and it was doubtful I would be able to find a direct replacement. Fortunately this one was close to the depth required and included short hands. After some slight mods and 3M double sided tape it worked fine. The only downside was that the shaft diameter for the minute and hour hands were too large to fit the original hands but the kit had a set that fit the style and size. The original second had fit. Frankly it took longer to search Amazon for a suitable mechanism and hands to fit than it was to install.

I needed to replace the works in a clock with very short hands and this kit had them. Clock is working perfectly.
