This product works well adhered to vibration dampener. I stuck this to the roadkill vibration dampener on the roof and back of the cab. I also attached it to the headliner.I also installed Stinger carpet pad at the same time. The overall sound reduction was quite satisfying.I plan on adding the product to the doors. I had previously installed sound dampener both on the door skin and in place of the vapor barrier between the door and the interior door trim.

Flexible and fits in tight spaces... Helped reduce some of the road noise coming in from door panels in my old van.

Keep in mind this alone won't do much for sound deadening. What you need to do is put Mass Damped Vinyl on this. This will act as an air separator between the MDV and your car, and the separation is needed for the MDV to properly work. The MDV is what actually dampens the sound, not this.

Installed 48 SF of this in my Ram 3500 Cummins. Used it on the interior trim and also put it over the Stinger Roadkill Expert to give the carpet a more plush feel. Road noise is almost non-existent, manual transmission hum is greatly diminished, and I hear my system (not my system rattling trim panels). I am very happy with this product and the price on Amazon is very reasonable.
