Dr. Brown's Designed to Nourish Fresh Firsts Silicone Feeder, Grey, 1-Pack

This feeder has been good for introducing semi-solid foods to our baby. We’ve been using it mostly for soft fruits like avocado and banana, and it works perfectly. It's easy for little hands to hold and chew on, while limiting the mess. It allows our baby to explore new tastes and textures safely, without the risk of choking. I really like that the set comes with two feeders and lids, which makes it super convenient to prep and bring food on the go. The silicone is soft but durable, and it’s BPA-free and non-toxic, considering how many baby products out there still use questionable materials. Cleaning is easy, everything rinses off easily and can go in the dishwasher. Overall, for the price, this is a great value. It’s a simple, clever product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended for any parent starting their baby on solids.

We tried spoon feeding with different spoon types as well as several baby-led weaning approaches for several weeks, but could not get our baby to accept more than a bite of solid food. Upon first use of this, our baby easily grasped the handle and bit the silicone tip. Although he grimaced upon tasting the food, he liked chewing on the tip and continued putting the feeder into his mouth and swallowing food. These have really helped him begin accepting food, and they're easy enough to wash that we can use the same set 3x per day. Some other notes: - The nipple holds about 1.5 tbsp. I wish it held a little more (like 2 tbsp). - When baby "finishes" the contents, there is usually still ~1 tsp left in feeder. I usually unscrew the top and feed the remainder with a spoon, though I wish I didn't have to do this. - I was choosing between this and the boon feeder, but opted for this one since it screws on/off rather than pops on/off and our baby can take caps off things easily that aren't screw-top. - The silicone did stain a bit with papaya (as I expected based on other reviews), although the discoloration has faded over multiple washes. - The silicone nipple sits a bit loosely in the collar when unscrewed from handle. When screwed together, everything fits well, but this is different than most baby bottles where the nipple is seated tightly in the collar before screwing the bottom on. All and all, I'm really thankful that this helped my baby overcome eating difficulties. Although there are some minor issues mentioned above, they are pretty minor.

Perfect for babies. Have tried the mesh ones and they are gross after first use. This is so easy to wash and keep clean for baby to try all different kinds of food! 10/10 recommend! And easy for baby to use. We put frozen watermelon in there and it’s fun for our girl to eat.

These work so well. And so easy to clean. The silicone feeder I dont have to worry about anything lingering behind and getting stuck in it.

Wish I bought it sooner. Perfect for 8m old. He has a hard time picking up slippery fruit so this really helps. Also is great for his teething. Have bought large bag of frozen fruit & put in here to soothe gums. He loves it. It does stain with some food (mango, watermelon). To get stain out, I’ve just let it sit in the sun for a few hours and comes out every time.

Soft bottles easy to clean

This review is a tad bit long, but please bear with me 🙂 I've been a mother for 11 years and I have 3 kids, my youngest is 8 months now and this is the first time I've seen something like this. My baby's milk bottles are all Dr. Brown's and so is one of the bib with a teether. I love the products that my baby has been using. So when I saw this Dr. Brown's Fresh First Silicone Feeder, I thought that this is something interesting to try for the first time for my baby. But of course, I wasn't sure how safe this will be for my child so I read the comments and product description and finally decided to purchase for the second time, (the first one I ordered didn't get delivered, because the package got lost but I did get a refund). So now, I got the item, as soon as it arrived I opened the parcel with a small box inside. Around the box are some instructions for cleaning and before each use, also other informations and a warning label (for child's safety and health). The silicone feeder was pack individually in a very small clear plastic, about the same size of the item. I read and followed the instructions in the box. So after cleaning and sanitizing it, I use the pink silicone feeder first and put a small piece of clementine. I made sure its secure (the baglet and collar). When my baby first saw it, she was curious and around this age they will put anything in their mouth. So that part for her is easy. As soon as she learned how this thing works, she love it! She will not let go of this thing. She love it knowing that she can have fresh fruits now without me worrying that she might choke (she loves to eat whatever food she sees, she would want to try it but she couldn't yet for now.) I say, by far I am impressed with how this product work. Although I read in some comments that the pink one with silicone will get discolored after using it with maybe certain type of foods. I'm not sure if it will do the same with banana, apples or honey dew. Those fruits have different juices and color so it might turn the silicone not orange, unlike ours did. We will see how durable it will be considering my baby is growing some teeth and likes to bite (that's another thing to look out for because some other products are made from cheap silicone, but the Dr. Brown's nipples from their milk bottles are well made). I am hoping that this will last until she is ready to take solid foods without the help of the silicone feeder. Other than the product review, I have no problem with the price and I am satisfied with the on-time shipping and delivery, also no damages or whatsoever with the packaging. Right now, I'm giving this a 5 star review even with a slight flaw with the silicone discoloration after first use.

It was great for my little one around 6/7 months. He was a slow teether so he was able to use this until about 10 months. It was helpful to introduce different food and fruits when he didn’t have any teeth!

Babies who just crossed 6 months it's good for them . you can buy it .

The quality of these are great, they lasted me 2 children which I’d say it great value for money! Good sized gripping area which makes it easy for kids to hold! They do stain easily but easily removed with Milton

Justo lo que buscaba. Fácil de limpiar y dificil de desmontar para bebés, ya que muchas otras marcas se desmontan con facilidad y tienen piezas pequeñas y es un peligro. Lo he utilizado un montón, modo helado para las encias de mi hijo.
