High quality sound
Great sound quality. I like this thing, but . . . I wish the display would show the song playing when using Bluetooth. I wish there where more options for audio hookups. For example, tape player, cd player, etc. Just a wish or two. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Also, great customer service.

Be wary my friends! You think you are buying a name brand piece of audio equipment...
Well, where should I start? I have been an audiophile since the 70s and I have had some very cool and interesting amplifiers and equipment being stationed in Japan. Nakamichi Tape Decks, Bang & Olufsen Turntables, etc., etc. I kinda known what I am doing. I purchased this amplifier so we could listen to music and watch movies in our newly renovated basement. I hooked up the surround speakers, HDMI cables, and my always trusty optical cable. I use optical cables throughout the house because the sound just cannot be beat. I switched on the amplifier and the Fire TV. I set the input to Opt1 on the amp and a very loud buzzing noise came through the speakers. It was ear piercing! I checked the settings on the TV and they were fine. There were no settings on the amplifier, and there were no instructions per sea. Just a "here's where the knobs are" image. I tried to get a manual from the product support, and it was nil. There were no "equalizer settings" image either. Nothing of any importance. I called and got an answering machine. I wrote an email and got a reply back the next day. The email stated that I need to call and here are the equalizer settings. They were as if a child had written them. It was then I realized that this was NOT PYLE any longer. The next day I called and an Asian woman with an attitude answered the phone. She talked very fast with a hard accent. I kept telling her to slow down and repeat what she had just said. I knew at this point I was on my own and this was the end of our service industry for good. She put me on hold for 20 minutes probably hoping I would hang up, and I did. Furious does not even come close to how I felt. She had told me to use another input like the HDMI/Arc. I told her I wanted to use optical and I should be able to use what input I wanted. That was a ridiculous request! This was their TECH SUPPORT???!!! Well, to make a long story longer, I am now on some internet threads where people are actually trying to help me as we speak. These companies no longer service what they sell as you are routed to Singapore, the Philippines, or some other third world country where they work for $1 an hour. It's a shame really. You think you are buying a name brand piece of audio equipment, and you get screwed instead. Be wary my friends!

No bass and the screen is blank..
Screen is blank and dark and I have to play it by the ears in order to locate the Bluetooth, for a novice customer, it would be impossible to find it. The setting is very easy, but the manual doesn't have any trouble shooting tip, it's a hit-or-miss. The bass could be a little better, and Yamaha doesn't have anything on it when it comes to sound. That amplifier doesn't have any input for aux speaker, and most people don't use DVD, so why not using it for an external media speaker for sound boosting. The FM radio is not too bad. but I prefer streaming app. The blue light on the equalizer make the amplifier looks too bright and there should be a button to tone it down, there are so many details that can be improved. The subwoofer port should not be included as one of the channels. I would have kept it if it had at least an analog aux ports.

Reasonably Good 310 Watt Amplifier Burdened with Useless Karaoke Features
This is, overall, a reasonably good 5.1 home theater amplifier, and the dual graphic equalizers are the standout feature. Each channel gets its own EQ, and that level of hands on control is something no other budget amp seems to offer. That alone was the main reason I bought it. I replaced a more expensive and powerful Pioneer 7.1 receiver with this unit because I was tired of digging through digital menus just to adjust tone settings. Sometimes I want dialogue without heavy bass; other times I’m listening to rock or jazz and want more low end. The Pyle’s front panel EQ makes those adjustments quick and intuitive. However, Pyle’s obsession with karaoke really drags this product down. The two microphone inputs and the five front panel knobs dedicated entirely to karaoke functions are completely out of place on a 5.1 home theater amp. I’ll never use them, and they take up valuable real estate that could have been used for something far more useful. Those five knobs would have been perfect as individual channel level controls. Instead, channel levels are buried in menus, and adjusting them takes time and effort. The menus themselves are another frustration. As soon as you enter a menu, you get about three seconds before it times out and resets. You barely have time to move your hand to the buttons before it kicks you out. It’s a baffling design. The owner’s manual is 100% worthless. It's nothing more than a thin pamphlet. It doesn’t explain features, settings, or functions — it just shows pictures of the labels on the front panel, back panel, and remote. Those labels are already on the product. That’s it. No guidance, no descriptions, nothing. For example, when playing MP3 files from a USB stick, the unit offers EQ1, EQ2, EQ3, etc., but the manual never explains what any of them do. You’re left guessing. I also encountered a serious issue when playing MP3s from USB: the audio was badly distorted even at low volume, and the playback speed randomly shifted from very slow to normal with no user control over speed. Since there are no speed settings, this appears to be a fault in the amplifier. If it happens again, the unit is going back. And one more thing. Pyle advertises the amp as having 2,000 Watts in big letters. You're dealing with audiophiles when you get into home theatre amps. The one and only realistic measurement of output power is RMS. The true continuous RMS output of the Pyle PT6060CHAE is: • 70W × 3 channels @ 4 Ω • 50W × 3 channels @ 4 Ω That’s the only RMS rating Pyle publishes for this model, and it applies specifically to 4‑ohm loads. Pyle does not publish RMS numbers for 8‑ohm speakers, but based on amplifier behavior and power supply limits, the real 8‑ohm RMS output is typically 30–45 watts per channel in practice. So, if you have 4 ohm speakers, the maximum output power of this amp is 310 Watts, not 2,000.

Great Value
I'm so pleased with the sound quality compared to what I had been listening to. Paired instantly to iphone in fact, when I select Blue on amp my phone app imediately comes on! Maybe this is normal and everyone who is reading this is rolling their eyes. My go to method is using a usb stick with tunes but I can't get the volume low enough with that. Instead I'm using iphone because I turn down volume easily. Blower fan noise is a small issue. I'm going to try some foam in the cabinet it resides in to see if it dampens sound. I bought this amp primarily for sound quality and I'm not disappointed.

Excellent Power and Sound Quality
I bought this amplifier to replace an A/V receiver that failed. The feature set and input options are excellent, including USB player, HDMI input, and FM radio along with 5.1 stereo sound. I was very impressed with the power of this unit, which powers my main, surround speakers and subwoofer with ample power to spare, along with just as good sound fidelity as my replaced A/V receiver. The cooling fan is quiet enough when the unit is placed in a cabinet with sufficient ventilation. Even though it does not have 6 separate sound fields, the excellent sound quality in stereo with the 2 separate equilizer bands is more than sufficient, especially for playing music. While some have downgraded the remote for not powering the unit on and off, as long as this amplifier is built to last, I would give it 5 stars.
