Longer then I needed

They look thick enough as that’s the only reason I bought them to go in water boots specifically right above the ankle boots. i’ve yet to try them. They seem of good quality and thickness not the best. Certainly not the worst. I have not tried them yet, so I do not know if they creep down to the ankle. If they do, I’ll get blisters on the backs of my leg, and the front of my shin from the water boots, then my review would be totally different and if that happens, I will amend it . Good luck, catching whatever you’re wanting to catch.

These socks are the pinnacle of sockness. Darn near long enough that I can skip underwear. Let's just say the elastic on top of one side gets a little stretched out.

I am giving one star because they arrived before the arrival date. Looking at the package I was impressed by the length of these socks, but that didn't last too long. When I tried them on the diameter the tube and elasticity of the sock is not up to par with other tube socks, the top of the tube sock was way to tight on my leg. Additionally the sock is very thin, you can see your skin through them when on. My next concern is that they will probably shrink so much as to make them unwearable, as they ill not go over the calf. The search continues foe a QUALITY, THICK and COMFORTABLE over-the-calf tube sock. I will not purchase these again.

After 5 minutes socks start sliding down. Not great boot socks.

Great socks! They stay up and are not too tight. Not too heavy and durable.

Good length over calf, but upper and lower portion are different weave with different elasticity - upper 1/3 is a bit loose, and lower portion is a bit tight, not very elastic.
