Are these genuine a TinySA or one of the many fakes as described on tinysa.org

There _are_ lots of fakes around and I believe the Amazon could have fallen foul of them. I did get mine from Amazon, viz: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08HVJ8ZSF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is fine. However, I'm told that, to be safe, Mirfield Electronics would be wiser.

Exactly how can I use this to find out the frequency of something?

if you highlight the markers and scan up and down the peak freq will be highlighted

Can this be used to connect a directional antenna (used for a sim card huawei router) to fine tune the antenna direction for maximum signal reception?

Hi Paul, If the router uses the 800 or 900mhz 4G bands then possibly yes, but if the router uses the 1.8Ghz band then no as the maximum frequently of the Mini SA is 930Mhz. I hope this helps. Kind regards, D.

Very doubtful: I don't think that the SA gets up to wifi. frequencies (2.4 and 4 GHz). Most conflicts between wifi users relate to a very crammed bandwidth so other households are likely, quite inadvertently, to conflict with one another's traffic.
