This is my go to milk replacer powder. I like the powder more than the liquid formula because I find it lasts longer as you can prepare as much as you need instead of opening the can and having to use it by a certain time. You can also prepare it as diluted or thick as you need. Kittens love this but also fragile adult cats or elder cats

I ended up with cats from neighbor's house because they never fix anyone. So kittens naturally became a part of my yard and land. Some of the mothers were sick, so we opted to take the kittens and raise them in the house where they'd be safe from predators and illness. KMR has saved the day when it comes to getting adequate nutrition into these babies. I've also used it for my older cats when they don't have much appetite. It is an all round great product and super easy to use.

I foster kittens about once a year and KMR is my go to for the youngest ones. It gives the kittens the best nutrional start as possible.

The instructions say to whisk by hand and not use a blender. I use a baby blender and it's just fine. This is the most economical size to purchase I think. Kittens love it. I do wish PetAg would sell bulk nipples for the bottles. I prefer the nipples over using a syringe but the kittens chew the nipples and it is too expensive to buy the whole bottle just to get extra nipples.

We had found a very sick kitten outside who was still nursing and very young who was in danger of losing her eye and worse. The Pet AG is what the emergency vet gave us to hold us over after treatment and she drank it up with no diarrhea or ill effects. We tried one other brand of KMR and it made our kitten sick with diarrhea. Pet AG has a great formula that’s easy to reconstitute. It’s a 2 to 1 ratio meaning 2 parts water to one part powdered formula for example 2 tablespoons of water (30ml) to 1 tablespoon of formula powder (15ml) or any quantity/volume you’d like to make like 2 teaspoons (10ml) to 1 teaspoon (5ml) etc. We used either a fork or small battery powdered milk frother to mix in. The milk frother worked best to get a nice smooth consistency without lumps/clumps but you can’t over do it or too much air will incorporate and give the kittens colic. Best to use it and let it rest to let any air bubbles rise and give it a quick stir with a fork since it tend to settle quickly. Once reconstituted, the milk is refrigerator stable for 24 hours so don’t make more than you need or you’ll be throwing a bunch out. Once the powder container is open it should also remain in the refrigerator to preserve freshness and stability.It also comes in ready to use liquid formula you can warm up slightly. My kitty liked about 100-105 degrees Fahrenheit for her temp but don’t go too warm. Wrist test the formula like baby formula or scan it with a temp gun. They’ll outgrow this and move on to PetAG 2nd Step that you can slowly incorporate kitten pate into until they wean off completely. Even our older cats loved this and would clean up her left overs in the milk bowl once she was old enough to wean off the syringe and nipples. This formula saved our now adopted kitten and I can’t sing its praises enough. Accept no substitutions on the Pet AG KMR!

I fostered 3 abandoned kittens who were found in extremely hot weather. They were 2 weeks old and were very weak and dehydrated. I made a quick trip to our local feed store where the store personnel recommended KMR Milk Replacer above the other brands. I purchased a couple of canisters and a bottle and went back home and started feeding kittens. However, I quickly realized that what I purchased at the feed store was not going to last 3 hungry baby kittens very long. So, I ordered the 5 lbs bag of the KMR Milk Replacer since it saved money to buy that rather than the canisters. The video is of the one male kitten, Andy, having his dinner. I do not know whether that video will convince anyone to buy the KMR Milk Replacer, but I think there is no doubt Andy loved it, as did his two sisters. On the formula, all 3 kittens gained weight every day, which they were supposed to do. When it came time to wean them, I used the KMR formula mixed with their baby kitten canned food to make a slurry to introduce them to the texture of solid food. It worked like a charm. Two were weaned in one week. The smallest kitten said she did not want to adult, so she held out one more week on the bottle before she agreed to eat solid food. When the kittens left me at 9 weeks to go to their next foster family, they were healthy and active, with beautiful fur and sparkling eyes. The third picture is of little Andy the day after he and his sisters were found. The second is of the kittens at 7 weeks old (Andy is in in front, leaning against the stroller). Andy was adopted Thanksgiving 2019. One of the girls was adopted just after Christmas, and the other just after New Year’s Day. The powdered formula is really super easy to reconsitute - IF you have a blender bottle (Amazon). If you try to stir and mix the powdered formula in a bowl with water, it takes a long time to get all the lumps out. The blender bottle takes about 10 seconds. Note: The use-by date for the formula is 3 months - 6 months if kept in a freezer.

ThankGod for the ultimate life saver for just born kittens and weak kittens. I hv tried beapher ,Samolac, ventri . My kittens died and only Kmr saved with just the first one small feed the diarrhea stopped and my kitten instantly was relieved, the next day she started to gain energy. I know its expensive and the delivery takes ages. But trust me no washing of diarrhea or sad fading kitten with KMR& petlac Formula. Their KMR and Petlac formulas are relief to us and the only saver I'm certain of for just born to 6 weeks kittens.In the 7th week if the kitten starts chewing biting you can introduce little by little dry food soaked in hot water softening it, let them cool down to room temp , you can then feed. I recommend this product and warning you beforehand to buy tins 6 days in advance. For a 3&4 week single kitten the tin comes only for 7 days maximum. Incase you can't afford more you can buy atleast once to save its life for a week or 10 days and see how it revives and then decide to buy further or not or find an alternative which might suit them. But this is the best kitten formula I've seen with many kittens I've raised without mom cat.
