Princess Academy: The Forgotten Sisters Review: Great conclusion to the trilogy - I have enjoyed all the princess academy books. I have 3 daughters: 8, 14, & 16. They like the books too. Book 3 May be more mature for some younger readers- there is a little more talk of romance & kissing, there is violence (and a not a murder scene) and children are taken from their mother! I found it a great conclusion to the trilogy with lots of suspense filled thrills along the way. Review: A very satisfying book - Third book of the Princess Academy trilogy. It’s best to read books one and two before reading The Forgotten Sisters. The book is both exciting and endearing. When one is having an “off day”, reading or rereading this book seems to set the world right again.

Best of the trilogy!
I love Shannon Hale and I have really enjoyed this series! This book was GREAT!! I think it was the best of the three. I never knew where this book was going and it was filled with twists. Some guesses were correct, but it was just an awesome ending. The characters are great and grow and change. The new characters are awesome and the swamp girls are a funny addition. The story was satisfying in every way. I can't recommend Shannon Hale highly enough.

Quite the adventure
I've loved all of Shannon Hale's books and this one did not disappoint. It was fun to see Miri continue to grow and to experience her in a new setting with new, delightful characters. It was a fun read!

Timeless
I struggle to find new good reads, so this is my second time through this series. I gave it five years in between, and now all the details pop again! Thank you, ma'am, I will forever love your books~♡

Just Terrific
Clean, interesting, intelligent; this series is a delight from start to finish. Not many books work so hard for nonviolent solutions to their key conflicts, but this one does, with humor and cleverness. Thank you, Author Hale, from another peace-loving author.

Such an excellent book
I wish this story could go on and on. What a great story. The characters were so vivid. I felt as if I were experiencing all the wonderful episodes in the swamp with Mira. The description of the Sisters were very good. I loved this series. GOOD READING!! I love the way Shannon Hale writes.

Loved it
What a wonderful ending to this well-written trilogy. I would recommend this book to anyone, but would also let younger kids know about it. The reading level is a bit more advanced, but could work well as a shared read aloud with parents. I would strongly advise, however, to start with the first in the series and go through all three in order.

I loved the whole series of Princess Academy, the descriptive writing and and the vivid details really makes it interesting and a one of a kind book. This book wood be perfect for children ages 8-11 who are interested in princess and maybe a little history. This book definitely deserves a five star rating and I would really recommend it.

It's a Shannon Hale book, of course it's superb! Hale sets a strong example of what writing for teen and preteen girls should be. We devour books from the library but *buy* Hale's books to keep and reread. I read the trilogy to my 9 and 13 year olds (they were 8 and 12 when we read most of it). We all loved the books. They are thought provoking, humorous, they contain some surprising twists and turns without being contrived, and the characters are endearing. Personally, I liked the first two books better than this one but my 13 year old was absolutely stoked about this closing story to the trilogy. My 13 yr old read the books on her own but still cuddled up with us at reading time to hear them again. I swear, people should *never* stop reading to their kids!!! It develops phenomenal reading comprehension when adults read to older children, and sharing a story through movies or theatre just doesn't compare to the intimacy of reading together. I hope when they're young adults we still gather to read somedays. My 9 year old was kept engaged throughout the trilogy, even though it's not quite her thing (she strongly prefers books with mythical creatures or felines in them) so it's a sign of strength in the story and storytelling. She is also a touch to young for the books, but she's a sharp kid and could make the small stretch in maturity to handle it. She wouldn't have read the trilogy on her own. Sometimes people cut corners on youth and junior fiction, thinking their readers aren't discerning enough to notice. Kids deserve better! That's why we have a lot of Shannon Hale books. Her Ever After High books are brilliant, witty and spellbinding. This Princess Academy series offers kids stories that are sophisticated yet approachable. Next up on our reading list is Goose Girl. Good YA books are so fun, imaginative, and quick to read, I prefer them to most adult books. I'd probably get Goose Girl for myself even if my teen wasn't into it (she already got it and read it from the library).
