Any info on where to wire what?** A: This worked for me. I connected a single strand of the extension wire to the yellow license plate light wire. I ran the extension license plate light wire next to all the tailgate wires using zip ties to the passenger side and spliced it for power into the white and purple tailgate wire that goes down into the passenger taillight. I used the wires from the old tire carrier 3rd brake light, cut off the top connector, and connected these wires to the new 3rd brake light wires. **Q: How do you wire in the license plate light and third brake light? Colors don’t match instructions** A: You have to run extra wire out of the tailgate to the passenger brake light and splice into the accessory power. Do some google searching there’s info out there **Q: After about a week or two of installing, did anyone else have problems with it draining the battery?** A: Have had mine on for 6 months to a year and haven't noticed this.
