REEF Men's Fanning Bottle Opener Flip Flops

I needed new sandals and I decided on the Reef Fanning sandals and I just love them. I've worn them daily since receiving them and they are broken in nicely in just over a week of wearing. They feel solid and well made and I expect to get quite a lot of use out of them. I'll update this if that doesn't happen. The size 11's fit true for me. These were just right. What I liked is they are sturdy and yet comfortable on my feet. They don't feel like they will fall off or shift side-to-side like the exceptionally cheap dollar store kind would. I've walked miles in them, so I can say they're comfortable. What is most noticeable for me is they stay on my feet without being restrictive. So they're fine for driving, running around and are great in the water and sand. I haven't used the bottle opener yet, but as we live at the beach, it's only a matter of time before I do. For the quality, I am happy with these and with how much I paid for them. ($42, delivered).

Always fits and feels great. Have been buying Reef's flip flops for over 20+ years and I if buy some other brand, I end up not wearing them and only wearing my Reef's. Lifelong customer!!!

Love the arch support in these. Easily the most comfortable sandal I’ve ever worn. I spend a lot of time in sandals here in Southern California. I get myself a new pair every year.

I normally take size 11 when buying the reef but this seems to be running small for a men’s size 11 find that the strap very tight

I've been buying these since 2005. Why mess with perfection? I even wrote a college paper on, Reef and how dope their sandals are. I wore them my entire time living in Maui and will continue to wear them til the end of my days.

I refuse to spend more than $50 on shoes or flip flops. I buy a pair of Reef every year. I get about 10 months out of them, but I wear them for 12. Eventually they wear so thin they go through the air padding in the heel, and though less comfortable than when new they still feel 100x better than old navy flip flops. I wear them to Vegas no less than 2 times, 12 hikes (no less than one 12000 foot hike, and one through a glacier in the summer), and I wear them with horses and cattle (though I probably shouldn't for safety). I gave them 5 stars because they work and I wont buy anything else, assuming the price is under $50, because as I said its my personal limit. I'm cheap. These things are not. The bottle opener is stupid, as I wouldn't put the sole of me feet on my drinks, but functionally I think (no evidence, just experience) that the opener aids it arch support by keeping the sole from over flexing. Habe mich richtig über diese flip Flops gefreut. Endlich mal welche mit einem halbwegs vernünftigen fussbett. Angekommen ausgepackt und erstmal überrascht wie schwer die Dinger doch sind. Reingeschlüpft und überrascht wie hart die Sohle ist. Das hat mich erstmal skeptisch gestimmt. Jetzt nach dem ersten Sommer muss ich sagen: einer der bequemsten Flip Flops den ich jemals hatte. Super verarbeitet. Selbst jetzt noch sieht der „Schuh“ noch sehr gut aus. Super Qualität sehr gut verarbeitet. Lediglich das Gewicht stört. Den Flaschenöffner hätte man sich auch sparen können.

The fit of the strap is a bit tight but I have high arches so that may be unavoidable. I normally get a thinner strap which can be better. Nonetheless they are comfortable once on and walk more like a shoe with less flip flop action. The church key in the bottom is cute but not sure I’d be cool enough to use it but maybe if desperate. They look great and are comfortable to walk in overall recommend.
