UPDATE: 07/13/2023This will be the second set I am making. I have learned a lot about diamond painting since August 2021. The best advice I can give beginners is to look under Diamond art kits on Amazon and have fun. Pick a kit you REALLY like. Don't let the difficulty stop you. I will have some supply suggestions at the end of this update.So, to the task at hand... these two kits are actually garden flags. Yup! You can find matching garden flags. So look for those on Amazon too.Kit #1 Lantern - This kit is bright and colorful. It's a "What You See Is What You Get" kit. In other words, It looks just like the sample picture on the website. (PHOTO 1) The symbols on the canvas are easy to read. The color-coded squares make the pattern easy to follow and the Key to the right is conveniently located for reference while you are working on your canvas. (PHOTO 2). There are plenty of beads, no shortages here. There are very few if any, misshapen ones. (PHOTO 3).Kit #2 - I could say the exact same thing for this kit as I did for kit #1. The only difference between the two is that in Kit #1 you have to cut your bead packets apart from each other and in Kit #2 that has already been done for you. So, (PHOTO 4) - Shows you the full canvas, (PHOTO 5) shows you a close-up of how easily the pattern can be read, and the color key to the right. (PHOTO 6) shows you all the colored beads you will use in this kit.PHOTO 7- Both kits come with a tool pack which includes a green bead tray, a pen, a cement rectangle, and some baggies.Both these kits are easy and fun to do. They are a great gift.Now for TIPS: All these things I have purchased on Amazon. You do not need them but they do make my experiences with diamond art more pleasurable. All these items can be found by doing a Diamond Art Tools search. I purchased these items: (PHOTO 8) Diamond Painting Storage Case to organize my beads for my current kit. (PHOTO 9) Light Pad kit a great value!, (PHOTO 10) Light pad switch cover (necessity) and (PHOTO 11) Diamond Art pen - saves your hands from getting tired.I hope I've been helpful. HAPPY DOTTING!Aug 31, 2021This was my first kit. I am a retired teacher so I was not restricted by work or other obligation and was able to work on my kit at my leisure. It took me 3 days to complete.TIP #1: A magnifying glass is EXTREMELY HELPFUL as is good lighting. I read many reviews before buying my first diamond drill kit and many reviews said they ran out of beads. I think this may be because they made errors by putting the wrong color on the wrong square. A magnifying glass really helped eliminate this. I had more than enough beads and the quality of the beads was very good. I didn't find any dull or deformed beads.TIP#2: I have been doing cross stitch for many years and the first thing I noticed was the DMC color codes on the side bar.These are the same colors that are used for DMC floss. I don't know if this was a converted cross stitch kit or if DMC sells the diamond drills but you will want to write these codes down and save your extra beads if you really like this type of art because most likely all the kits will use these DMC codes as well as their own color codes.TIP #3: Have several containers for your different colors. You can buy beading containers if you'd like but I used baby food jar lids and they worked perfectly. I found it much easier and more pleasant to work on a particular area using several of the colors all at once rather than working with only one color at a time. I also found that working this way prevented me from missing squares.TIP #4: Start at the top of the page and work down. This will prevent you from having the sticky border constantly sticking to your skin as you work.TIP #5: Buy some snack baggies to store your beads in. The tiny bags that come with the kit are a pain to work with. Snack baggies are the perfect size and and are easier to zip and unzip.Hope my tips help. I tried to upload photos but couldn't.

Very easy to do. The darker areas are a little harder to read, but for the most part it was a simple and fast project. There were plenty of dots to complete the project, with quite a few left over. Most definitely would buy from this seller again.

Finished in 4 days. It was beautiful for a gift to my daughter. She loved the fall picture it is being framed at this moment. Thank you

I do not remember if there was anything. For my own use and walls. I love fall and all the viberint colors..

This is the first diamond art project Ive done and so far it is exactly as expected. Although it is much prettier than what is advertised. I would purchase another diamond art piece to do for sure.

The first diamond painting didn't take long to do. The second diamond painting it's taken long to do cause should use another color on dark colors so you can see it better, other then that its ok. Use other color on dark colors.

Very nice canvas and the symbols are easy to see. So far very pleased with this diamond painting kit.

Beautiful pictures. Finished the lantern and am working on the second one now. Can't wait to seal and mount them on a canvas.
