Original Toyota Part for 1/3 Price (2002 Tundra 4.7L 4WD)
Edit 11/20/23: MAF still working nicely. Yes on the Hitachi and yes on the Denso O2 Sensors. Dew it Grasshopper!!! Had cleaned the original MAF Sensor a few times over the years, but still couldn’t remove the small amount of black carbon on a few of the delicate inner sections. Stealership wanted $175 for new one. Sourced the manufacturer to Hitachi by looking at the snap on cover of the original MAF on the engine. Sourced it back to this store along with New Denso o2 Sensors. Ordered and installed the MAF 6 months ago along with 4 New Denso o2 Sensors. Engine is much torquier! MPG is slightly better now due to the combination of MAF and o2 newness. Tested the old MAF per Toyota FSM Spec and it was out of spec. Same with the old o2’s. After almost 20 years guess it was time? Truck was purring nicely before swap (even being out of spec), but man that awesome torque has come back that I remember when she was new. Engine is even smoother now. The 4.7L rules. Side notes: Looks like Hitachi grinds off the Toyota stamping for branding issues. Sensor doesn’t look used/remanufactured as stated in another comment above. Looks like the exact part as the original. No worries because the original cap pops off and snaps over the New Sensor. Also the cost is $55 vs $170. Made in USA! Denso is Made in USA quality. Comes with Copper Anti-Seize. Suggest buying Lisle Thread Chaser to clean up the threads on the front o2 sensors. Also, a sensor socket is good to have for swapping out the fronts. May want to purchase some new nuts (4) for the rear sensors as the old ones are most likely rusted/deteriorated. If one of your o2’s is bad, suggest replacing all 4 at the same time and be done with it. Restore that sweet torque.

Works like OEM
My CEL (check engine light) had recently come on in my 2000 Toyota 4Runner. I tried a couple other interventions before finally deciding it was probably from a dead oxygen sensor. This particular vehicle has an "upstream" sensor and a "downstream" sensor. The sensor is the same for both applications (they are juts in different parts of the exhaust system). I only replaced the upstream one (for now). It fit as OEM. Fairly easy to do, although I did hit the old one with some PB Blaster the day before to loosen things up so that may have helped. I have read they can be tricky to remove sometimes. The whole process probably took less than a 1/2 hour. I then disconnected the negative battery terminal to reset the vehicle's computers, then reconnected it and fired it up. CEL light gone and performance restored. My mileage is not where I think it should be and it is possible the other sensor also needs to be replaced, I will purchase this product again when that time comes.

New genuine O2 sensors
These are genuine Denso O2 sensors and were sealed and packaged in new packaging from manufacturer. My equipment mistakenly showed an issue, however upon further investigation these O2 sensors were new and genuine Denso O2 sensors and I would buy them again.

If you’re concerned about ordering OEM on Amazon

Oem Quality Denso Part.
Oem Denso part yes. But it'd be great if it came with the gasket. Just a heads up.

Learn the meanings of "upstream" and "downstream" before installing !
Outstanding buy. 1/2 the cost of the local parts houses - including all the chains - who will not price match the AMAZON price ! This and its mate - the 234-5142(?) fixed my 1998 4Runner after it failed California smog check. Installed both in less that 45 minutes total, added some "Sea-Foam" to the gas and crankcase, topped off with Chevron Premium, went for for 100 mile drive, and passed smog when I got back to town ! All you need is a 12 mm box end wrench, and some finger dexterity to get apart the OEM electrical connection. ( I broke the clamp on one {which I fixed with a zip-tie} but got the other one apart just fine.) I soaked the nuts / bolts the night before with some WD-40, and they came off easy as can be the next morning. I know I saved over $200, and I was told the Toyota dealer charges $150+ for each sensor (not counting labor) - which are the same exact Denso O2 sensors in the first place ! Check the Denso web-site to ensure proper sensor location. Although Amazon tells you the part is the right one for your truck (it was correct on that point), it does not tell you which sensor goes "upstream" (before the) Catalytic Converter, and which sensor goes "downstream" (after the) Catalytic Converter - which is critical so the engine's computer makes things work correctly.

Buy this product!
Hey, this is an awesome product. This is the real deal. I am super super satisfied. I drove about 30 minutes with my new oxygen sensor and guess what my catalytic converter on my O2 sensor said it was ready. Hallelujah the previous owner of my car put the wrong upstream sensor. I received the package today switch the part out went on my 30 minute drive cycle And boom cat ready. Thank you so much for this product. I love you.

3rd gen 4Runner cat wasn’t ready but now is!!
Catalytic converter was not ready. Drove hundreds of miles and still did not clear for smog. Replaced the 02 sensor with this Denzo and with a drive down the freeway 7 miles back and fourth; codes are cleared and CAT is ready for smog check!
