Tropics Ube Halaya (Purple Yam Jam)

This Ube Jam is the best. I have used it a few times for deserts and everyone has loved them. The taste is delicious. The color is a beautiful purple. The aroma is so good, the ease of use is great, and the ingredients are exactly what is needed for the perfect Filipino desert.

Love this jam. Use to make ube chocolate chip cookies. Makes them very rich and yummy.

As soon as I unpacked the box and saw that lovly purple colored jam, I was like, " This is going to be so very yummy. Definitely enjoyed this ube jam. The list of ways that this jam can be used is endless. The simplest use is making a peanut butter and ube sandwich

Nice on toast. Nice in cheesecakes and muffins. Reminds me of vanilla and pistachio with pumpkin.

Made cookies, excited about making an UBE cake. Tastes pretty vanilla but the color is outstanding!

Jar seal was broken and dried bits of liquid was sticking to the top of jar. I was not able to safely use this product and there was no option to return or get a replacement.

Great price for halaya. Used for Ube brownies that came out fantastic. Enough in one jar to make at least 2 batches. Previously bought the same jar at a shop for 50% more than found here.
