This is easy to install. The only gripe is that the instructions (and the picture) do NOT highlight enough a critical step called out at the end which is put the flap back on to keep the guard down and in position. For me, I removed the “flap” from the unattached chute and re-installed the “flap”. Like many, I missed this key step when reading the instructions and looking at the picture until I saw another person’s picture and write up reiterating this key step. I feel obligated to now also call this out. Thank you Mr. Person for you write up!!

This for me mower perfectly and does a great job. For the price does a nice job of mulching the grass. And it was genuine John Deere item, even can in a JD box.

Works as described. Not an exact fit but with a few self tapping screws you can make it fit. The screws also ensure it doesn't come off when you don't want it too

Exactly what I was looking for.

Worked just as expected and did a great job of mulching my leaves. I would point out the installation with the deflectors still installed is neigh on impossible. After watching several YouTube videos touting easy installation with the deflectors installed, they cut from easy install to installed. I finally decided to remove the deflectors and had the mulch cover installed within 2 minutes. But, the effort was well worth it since the cover does exactly what it claims to do.

Easy install on a JD S110. Excellent on dry grass. Only drawback so far: if the grass is really damp and thick do not use or the back up of wet grass under the deck can stress the mower belt. Trust me. Not a major issue once you learn.

It fits the 42” deck BUT the instructions are terribly written. I finally found that permanently removing the scoop by removing 2 nuts the cover is much easier to install and there is no need for the external scoop. I made an extra retainer plate attached with one of the scoop nuts to keep the cover from rising which it has a tendency to do. A better mount design is what is needed.

Came on time, fit is a little loose, however, it does the job well. I screwed the back did down tight to keep the top down tight. Thus only 4stars. One screw is a minor adjustment however it should fit tight on its own.

Like other reviews... works well but needs a couple holes drilled and zip ties so it actually seals

Mower (with brand new blades!) leaves streaks of uncut grass. Only tried it once. Took it off and put white back on and it cut perfect. Terrible product with brutal return policy. It costs more to return than I paid for it. The product doesn't work and now I'm stuck with it.
