I purchased a DID from voip.ms, and used that as my new home number. Then I created a sub account and did some forwarding. I changed my google voice not to pass though the caller ID and enabled screening. I made a forwarding rule that when google voice calls my DID, it will ring on my sub account and I setup a separate VM box and when I use the sub account, the caller ID shows my GV line. This works great for me. **Q: will this work with voip from spectrum?** A: As long as they provide you SIP credentials you can program the phone to use with it.
