Never returned money back. The thing never work.

Purchased this hot knife to cut Sunbrella fabric as I do quite a bit of home and boat canvas work.It works well, quite heavy (that's good) and quickly heats up to cutting temp. I also used it to cut 3/4" Fender line and it did a good job of sealing the ends.I would have given it 5 stars, but the temperature control dial (on the top) although it's not flimsy, it's quite loose and easily moved despite having found the best setting for cutting without burning the sunbrella fabric. It would be better if it had detentes so that it needed positive effort to rotate the dial. The trigger is a bit fidgety, works, but needs a good bit of pressure, which is fine. Much better than it turning on with light (kiddy) pressure.There's a hook on the end of the handle, so I keep the tool plugged in and hanging near to my work space, then when needed, I unhook it, press the trigger and within a few seconds the power light changes from flashing to steady then it's good to go.Delivery was actually early.Luckily, I didn't need to read the instructions ;)Paul
