MATCH NOT PERFECT BUT....
Unit was not a perfect replacement for the one removed but an actual improvement. The original was no longer in the books and not all features of the new water heater could be used without rewiring the RV. All in all though, the customer was satisfied.

Easy to install
The hot water tank was easy to install as all the necessary connection parts were included with the purchase. The instructions were clear and easy for a layman to follow.

Great product, easy instal
This was the first time I had ever attempted to change an RV water heater - when all was said and done, it took me over two hrs to get my old one out, as I had never done it before - putting in the new Suburban took less than an hr - the biggest issue w the removal and instal is, the cutout is extremely tight - the wires are long enough that you can connect before you actually slide it back into the very tight cutout ( I placed new one on a table just outside of the cutout and wired it there )After hooking up water feeds, propane feed and screwed it into the cutout, it fired right up - runs very quietly and heats up the tank very fastI’m glad I didn’t bring to a dealer and pay $700-$800 , it was, for the most part, a very easy instal and cost me less than half what the RV dealer wanted :)) - a GREAT product at a GREAT price :))

Inside wall switch, whether gas and or electric is sold separately as well as any door parts not compatible with the old heater.
Replaced a 1988 Suburban model with this in an old fifth wheel Fireball and had to make a few minor changes, like new gas lines and fittings and add length to wires provided. I had to purchase a new door and bracket kit, which fit nicely as the old one was all one piece. Bought a propane wall switch and installed inside so no more manual outside start and hooked the ac electric to existing inside switch. You may want to purchase the separate gas-ac combination wall switch if your rig is newer than mine. . Save all the old screws as door kit has 3 screws to attach to heater and frame and nothing else except a plastic door closure. I am extremely pleased with how it works and water connections fit same as the old ones. 4 stars until I discover any issues, but for now it works great with the flip of a switch.

Easy to install
The hardest part about changing this out was removing the old one, the previous owner did quite a number on sealing that bad boy in there. Everything is greatly labeled and prepped for switch out. Probably the hottest my water has been in my RV, ready for the season!
