This review is for the product style: TP-LINK AC1300 Archer T3U Plus High Gain USB 3.0 Wi-Fi Dongle, Wireless Dual Band MU-MIMO WiFi Adapter with High Gain Antenna ( link for this product style, if you are too lazy to scroll up to change product style, is https://www.amazon.in/TP-LINK-T3U-Wireless-MU-MIMO-Supports/dp/B0859M539M/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 ). If you have Windows 10 then no need for the resource CD which is provided, you can directly plug it in and choose WiFi 2 or whatever the option is visible from the WiFi connections and you will easily be able to connect to any WiFi network. I guess the Resouce CD is for Windows 7&8. One very important thing I realised which had been on my mind is that my laptop didn't support 5GHz bandwidth which was provided by my router (I have JioFibre). This TP Link's AC 1300 USB WiFi Adapter supported both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. So I had my doubts about whether my laptop could detect 5GHz bandwidth with this USB WiFi Adapter which supported 5GHz. To my joy, my laptop could use the 5GHz bandwidth with the help of this AC1300 WiFi Adapter. If your laptop is placed in a location far away from your router then I suggest buying a USB WiFi adapter with an antenna like this one. The ones without the antenna work badly when the device is located far from the router. Also, if your router supports MU-MIMO technology which basically means that you can add up your 2.4GHz and 5GHz speeds, then it is definitely a product worthy enough to be bought as it also supports MU-MIMO although I haven't checked it as my router does not support it. If you are looking for an extender, good ones cost around 2000 and they still need to be in the range of vision of the router and so are not efficient if you place it outside the range of sight of the router. Here this High-Gain Antenna of this WiFi adapter comes into play. I personally was surprised that it boosted my WiFi signal strength greatly from 40% to 80% in 2.4Ghz bandwidth and from 50% to 80% in 5Ghz bandwidth (for 5Ghz I checked in another laptop). So if you want both an extender and a USB WiFi adapter, then you should go for this product. It uses USB 3.0 which is good, as network speeds up to 5gps will not be bottlenecked by the USB. Overall I find this product excellent but a little pricy if you don't avail all of its benefits like MU-MIMO support, High-Gain Antenna for amplifying Wi-Fi signal, and 5GHz bandwidth support. Edit: I also bought the AC600 High Gain Antenna Product and it is good too. Though a slight difference is that it uses USB 2.0 obviously as this does not need a speed higher than the max speed of USB 2.0 ( 480mbps). Well it shouldn't matter anyway.

Detects well on my Linux (Fedora 40 workstation), size standard as mentioned on the package, quality of material for durability seems good, receiving WiFi signal from distance good, design is also standard. Just plug and play, nothing have to configure. Its well known Realtek chip, so hope no future issues. Added snapshots may helpful for debuggers.

Hab es für die Arbeit gekauft (Werkstatt), ersetzt einen viel aufwändigeren Dongel der schon alt war. Wir hatten immer Probleme mit Software updates der Firma Würth, mit diesem WLan Stick geht es wunderbar und klappt jedesmal. Vor diesem stick hat jedes Update mehrere Versuche gebraucht, ging so weit das ich den rechner schon abgebaut und an den router direkt angeklemmt habe. Der Stick funktioniert super, der Empfang wird schwächer angezeigt als beim alten (Hatte 2 schöne hochragende Antennen hinterm Monitor). Der Speed ist schnell und Stabil. Dieser stick sitzt bei uns in einem Blechkasten mit dem Computer darin und einer schmalen Öffnung an der Front. Benutze damit oft Sunshine und Moonlight Video Stream um den PC von draussen zu bedienen, funktioniert wunderbar auch durch ein geschlossenes Blechtor in einem Auto, manchmal bricht es ab, dem Umständen entsprechend sehr verständlich (Mit offenem Tor gab es noch nie aussetzer). Der Stick muss viel für seinen Empfang tun und hat es echt nicht leicht, klappt aber ziemlich gut. Würde es wieder kaufen! Härtetest bei mir bestanden.

Ho acquistato questa chiavetta TP-Link per un laptop ASUS con una scheda Wi-Fi interna che non funzionava più bene e perdeva continuamente il segnale. Il salto di qualità è stato enorme. Su rete 5GHz riesco a saturare la mia connessione arrivando a oltre 220 Mbps stabili, anche durante il download di giochi pesanti come Counter-Strike 2. Molto facile da installare su Windows 11, il segnale non cade mai. Se avete problemi di Wi-Fi instabile sul portatile, questa è la soluzione definitiva. Consigliatissima!

Worked ok for one evening. From the next morning it started getting disconnected and would only work when I unplugged it and plugged it back in, before it failed again within 5 minutes. Used it on another pc, exact same behaviour. Oh well...
