Get this product if you're new to learning to dry brush. It's got everything you need and contrary to other people's opinions I believe army painter is the perfect mix for price-quality. You'll always see and hear people talk down on army painter whilst using a £30 brush, not everyone has silly amounts of money to put into their hobby and I believe army painter and without a doubt the best quality you'll get for your money.

Bought these to try slap chop painting out, so far so good, they don’t seem to loose bristles, and the quality seems good for the price. Found them to work great for dry brushing and they had a decent range of sizes. Would recommend them for the money.

These brushes for 'dry brushing' came as a pleasant surprise. The designs I have used up until now have been based upon short stiff bristles. They were adequate but sometimes the design let to the base coat of paint actually being scraped off. These new designs are based upon a softer rounder shape. As a result, there is no danger of scraping and the amount/strength of dry brushing is achieved through simple pressure. The set of three brushes is designed to cover all the requirements from individual figures to model landscapes. My only gripes are relatively minor. Firstly, the smallest individual figure brush could be smaller. There can be a bit too much ''overlap' requiring touching up. Secondly, at least currently, the brushes only come in sets of the three sizes. As the smallest brush gets the most use, it will wear out before the others necessitating the purchase of another, triple, set. Not very economical. Perhaps, once the design is established, the brushes will be sold separately. This would certainly be a boon. However, all in all, these are excellent items and highly recommended.

I love these brushes. I was recommended and tried cheap makeup brushes to begin with for dry brushing. I found them to be okay, but they just didn't last. They were too soft and frayed very quickly. These brushes however are fantastic quality and are clearly going to last a lot longer. They're easy to load up, the bristles are dense and the slightly conical shape really helps with controlling where you want the paint to go. I'm using them for slap chop so they're getting a real hammering. I would definitely buy these again, and have recommended them to friends.

High quality and easy to maintain

I've been using them for little while now and they are the best dry brushes I've ever bought. They're a lot easier to use and clean and have made even larger models that much easier and faster to paint. The fact that they are easier to clean means they've already lasted longer than other brushes I've bought. Do yourself a favour get yourself some painters soap as well or they'll be useless after just a couple of projects

These are excellent, can’t praise them enough, great bushes, do a great job and last a while, 2 months so far and still going strong will be buying again 👍

Most of the dry brushes in my collection are either old, worn-out brushes that I've trimmed down for use or cheap makeup brushes, and they've always worked fine. So when my wife wanted to get a set of these (she recently got into the hobby), I thought it was a lot of money to spend for this kind of product. However, when they went on sale, I figured I'd suprise her with them, and when she raved about how well they worked, I gave them a shot myself. There is a BIG difference between cheap or repurposed dry brushes and these. I don't think I would have spent $30 on them, but at $20, they're almost as cheap as my favorite makeup brushes, and work so much better.
