I read that these help defer insects from coming into the house. We put a gazebo on our deck, which we love. On the downside, birds were making nests in the gables. I prefer to prevent the nests rather than disturb a nest with little ones. I also didn't want bird droppings on my furniture or guests. I didn't want to put in spikes. These are attractive and appear to be doing the trick. I had to go back and order a second pair to even things out. So far, so good!

Love these for room decor. So fun! They are highly reflective and about the size of a softball. Definitely worth the $ I spent and seems to be durable. Love the reminder that broken things are beautiful too.

Hung from the sprinklers in our apt, pointed one of the lights at it, we love it. Although you do need a little spotlight pointed at it for the full effect, we found one here on Amazon that works okay

I put one of these on the top of my antenna of my conversion van. It fit with the mood perfectly and people comment on it all the time.

Great for the party

Heard you could use these to keep flies away. I have livestock so was willing to try anything. Besides making my back porch look like a disco these worked fantastic. Haven't seen a single fly since I hung them up. Only problem was they got smashed in packaging, which didn't matter for what I was using it for, but would have been disappointed otherwise.

Looks good on here but unfortunately, it is trash. Very cheap, mine came with 2 sides bashed in which made the "ball" look more like a square. Also, just touching the item, you could feel the small mirrors moving under your fingers, ready to detach. Returned.

I am so disappointed with these disco balls. I was not expecting professional quality for the price, but I at least expected something usable. What I received was pure junk. These are not made of "premium quality mirror glass" as the description claims. They are literally just styrofoam balls covered in cheap, flimsy plastic silver squares that are supposed to look like mirrors. The construction is laughably bad. Many of the plastic pieces are completely misaligned, creating a messy, uneven surface. There were even a couple of pieces missing right out of the package, leaving bald spots on the styrofoam. The worst part is the top cap where you are supposed to hang it from. It is just a massive blob of hot glue that was barely holding on. It looked like it was about to fall apart before I even had a chance to hang it. Honestly, I would be embarrassed to use these for any kind of decoration. They look incredibly cheap and are very, very poorly made. I cannot recommend these at all. Save your money and find something else.

these were so cute! i hung one in my car and maybe it was all the sunlight but it eventually broke off. The other one i hung in my classroom and that one has lasted for several months now!
