Get these and Make Sure to Use a Drill
I used these multiple times to help anchor down embedded poles and decorations outside. They work really well, but they arenโt magic. Great Part : With my drill and in my soil, these went right down and held very firmly. When I added a pretty substantial (but still reasonable) amount of force against them, they didnโt wiggle. And still, removed them from the ground was super easy and didnโt leave a massive hold to be filled. Know before you Start : You really have to have a midrange drill at least - the weaker the drill, the less likely your drill will be able to actually put it way down in the ground. Putting these in is going to be harder in harder soil. If you have really tough soil, count on putting in a bit more elbow grease to get the eyes flush with the ground If you drill canโt do all the work, you can put a rod through the eye and twist these down into the ground manually. You have to use these like any other tie down, so if you are trying to keep something straight up and down, youโll probably have to run 2 wires in opposite directions. I would highly recommend these for outdoor applications on small to medium jobs. I have bought another pack already because I was so satisfied with e product.

Great anchors
Used these along a fence line to secure privacy fabric to the chain link fence. Went into the rocky soil easily and I was able to secure the fabric grommet to the anchor. No issues so far from the anchor, can't say the same for the privacy fabric. Wind was almost hurricane force and the fabric came free from the grommet, the brass grommet still attached to the anchor. Anchor and grommet did their job, fabric didn't. Need some more anchors for another project coming up.

Easy to install
Easy to install. Might want to put a little oil on the treads. If it is left outside for too long the eyelit will be hard to get unscrewed.

Worked great in our hard clay ground
Great quality, used to add extra security to our outdoor 10x20 shelterlogic tent shed thing. Our ground is not soft with lots of hard clay so the drill didn't work for us but we were able to get them in without them bending, which has been a problem for us with other brands. Will definitely buy these again if we end up needing more. They also came individually wrapped in bread bags which was kind of adorable, plus I appreciate that they extended the life of something destined for the landfill. Great price also.

Great sturdy anchors
These are pretty sturdy anchors. I use them to anchor some big and heavy Halloween decorations in the fall. I live in south Florida and we get tropical storms/hurricanes with some heavy winds. These work during tropical storms but would not test with higher wind events. I like that you can unscrew the eye to allow use of a drill to anchor to ground and then reattach eye.

They're good and effective but....
We were using these for setting up canopies for our business at outdoor events. Over the last few shows, we did notice a few things. These are not very effective in sandy locations. One of our events was close to a beach, not on the beach, and the sandy soil did not hold these stakes very firmly. We simply had to use back up stakes as well as these. The next event, they worked just fine. The last event was hard pack, and the stakes really struggled going in, and most of them we couldn't even get back out of the ground, so we pounded them down and covered them, or we just dug them up with random tools we found in the trailer. You'd think we could simply reverse the drill and the stakes would come out... But nope. The stakes just spun and spun in the ground creating a small cavity. The powder coating or paint on the top of the stake where the drill attaches is also a bit of a pain until you can get the paint worn off because it doesn't quite fit in the drill right. Once you're looking at bare metal on the top of the stake, it's fine. These would also be more effective and easier to use if they had more levels to the disc. Just the two times around post isn't quite enough to hold it well into the ground, or allow it to back out efficiently. Would I buy again? Maybe, but I'll check for others with more levels on the disc.
