Suede-Tex Mini Flocker

I found out about this process/product from some YouTube videos on woodworking projects, and it sounded perfect for some machinist toolboxes I was making for my three sons and me for Christmas. It was easy to apply and then coat with the fibers using this pump tool. (You will need to order the puffer pump, adhesive and flocking together the first time). I was doing a lot, so I ordered a whole pound of fiber and 3 cans of adhesive. I masked off what I didn't want flocked before applying the adhesive paint. It was much easier than felt and had better results.

Ten dollars for a cardboard tube??Don't be a cheapskate - Spend the money, it's worth it!The tubes fit snugly together, but slide easily and deliver a nice "spray" of flocking. The value of a tool is not determined by how much it costs to make, but how good a job it does for the intended purpose!! In this case, it works perfectly, which makes it a great tool.

Does the job as intended I would get a larger one if working on a project larger than 2 sq/ft to avoid time loss having to refill multiple times while glue is curing. That 10min goes by fast you have to work quickly

Works good but pricy for a cardboard tube with a hole in it.

This makes it easy to apply flocking material onto your project. And pretty much everywhere else around it. It's best to use this in a plastic lined box so you can contain and reclaim the overspray, as this is not a precision process. It does clean up easily though, and as long as you weren't messy applying the glue beforehand, the flocking material will clean up without a problem.
