I got another quilting book for beginners and could not figure out how to do everything. What wasn't fine was that I spent $18 for a book that was ridiculously packaged which resulted in it being bent before I received it. I returned it. Hopefully my new copy will not be damaged when received. It is well laid out, simple, and easy to follow. That said, there are a few critical mistakes in the book that are obvious if you think them through so it's not a big problem. But the user should absolutely not take every word as if it is perfect. A couple of the measurements just didn't make sense. My wife asked my opinion and I agreed that her reasoning was correct.
