Can i get a horizontal carry sheath

The sheath provides a number of holes through which you can mount the chain, however, as this is a "neck knife", there is no provision for clipping the sheath to a belt loop or boot. The sheath can be hung in an almost horizontal position. The handle (being the heaviest part) will hang lower than the point.

What is the blade length?

A little over 3 inches. It is a nice lite knife easy for concealing.

How is this a "secure ex" sheath?!. I really like the knife but it pops out easily, terrible sheath!. Anyone else?

Yes the sheath for mine was horrible too. I ended up heating the clip with a heat gun so it stays in the finger hole. now it seems to be working fine.

What kind of steel is the blade made of?

It is some sort of high carbon stainless. The blade is hollow ground and can be sharpened nicely. If worn around the neck, make sure you clean and oil the blade frequently because the high carbon content will corrode quite easily. A trip to the Cold Steel website will tell you what alloy the steel actually is.
