DESTROYER - Best Permanent Urine Stain and Odor Remover. No More Re-Marking. Dissolve and Neutralize the Urine Salts. Spot and Stain Gone for Good.

So I recently purchased a house and upon moving in noticed a strong pet urine odor coming from my son's room. I had a professional carpet cleaner come out and clean the whole house and it still smelled bad in my son's room. Before replacing the carpet (with hardwood) I decided to try a urine neutralizing agent. Not ONLY did this get rid of the smell it also removed the dirt from the carpet. I didn't dilute it with water when I steam cleaned the room. After I ran out of solution I used my Kirby cleaning solution. Today I noticed the carpet was noticeably cleaner the area I used this solution in versus the Kirby solution. Now I'm buying two more bottles to clean the remainder of the room. I wish I would have known about this product before paying $300 for professional cleaning services.

We have a dog kennel and have tried numerous products over the years with varying success.We're always on the lookout for that ONE PRODUCT that will actually do the job.I decided to give the DESTROYER a go and was pleased with the results.A quart didn't go far, but lived up to the spiel in the area in which it was used.Enough that we ordered more - a gallon this time.Notes about use:We have an indoor/outdoor rug (8 x 10) in part of the the puppy play area.We diluted the concentrate 2:1 (2 parts water to 1 part DESTROYER) using very HOT water as recommended.Note that the suggested mixture is 3:1, but we thought it might effect the efficacy too much when adding more hot water (also suggested) after spraying.Simply spraying was not enough to penetrate through the 1/2" thick carpet.We sprayed the entire rug and then gave it a thorough soaking in one spot just to try it out and that, of course, is where it worked best.The product works best when it can penetrate down into the padding of a carpet/bottom of a rug - keep this in mind when ordering as just spraying the surface will not be enough.A quart at 2: 1 barely covered the surface of an 8 x 10 rug,We ordered another gallon in order to actually be able to finish the job.That is, saturate it thoroughly.Note: we used a professional-industrial quality steamer (Bissell) to extract the solution.All told, we spent several hours on an 8 x 10 rug.* * * * *PRO: so far, the DESTROYER does what it is advertised to do, so long as it is used properly (thorough soaking).Also, there was no discoloration on a brightly colored rug.CON: not very cost-effective for large areas as it would likely be less expensive to hire a professional service than to use several gallons at $39.99 per in order to do the same job. (This is true for other similar products such as Rocco & Roxy.) As a non-profit, it's just not in our budget. We end up spending a lot of our own money on stuff.It would be nice if companies offered the product as a powder or tablet so we could mix our own, but then they'd lose a lot of their profit in the water they're adding to make up the quart and gallon sizes they sell.FINAL: we'll continue to use the product on the one rug because it's in an area frequented by adoptive families and we cannot put puppy pads down. Dogs have accidents - it happens.

When I first received this product, I used it how I thought the directions instructed me to. (We have a chair that my cat peed on for some time before we noticed and we've tried almost everything to get it out.) While it made a small dent in the problem, it didn't work as well as I had expected.Fortunately, a few weeks after I bought it, a customer service rep emailed me to check in and make sure the product worked for me. I explained the situation and he gave me some very detailed instructions and tips to make it work the best it can. Wow, what a difference! While this product works well, the customer service really put it over the top for me.

Works better than any other home carpet pet urine pretreatment we've tried and with 4 cats we've tried them all. We followed up with its companion product, the ChemGirl Happy Carpet Shampoo, and carpets look great. Rooms smell fresh, but not overly chemically or perfumy. Follow instructions to the letter for best results.

I have a feral cat that likes to pee on the carpet. I have tried several products and this one works better than most.I found that I had to really saturate the area and get it down to the padding. I let it sit then I used a wet/dry vac to pull out the excess moisture. Followed up with their companion carpet shampoo and everything smells fresh and clean. Will buy again.

Have a room that had heavy cat urine before spending hundreds on prof carpet cleaners, decided to give this a go first. I did the 2 part process and it really has eliminated a lot of the smell and stains. Because the padding of carpet is probably holding urine, I over saturated the carpets and think that actually worked. I made several passes with the steam cleaner to extract the moisture. The carpet feels soft and I can actually bare being in the room again. The scent of product is nice. Truly believe if I repeat the process that all the scent will be gone.

Used this on a concrete basement floor after moving in as the previous owner's dog had peed all over the place. There were plenty of stains on the concrete under the carpet & padding which we tossed. It definitely removed the odor, so it worked as described and easy to use.

These are stains left over from house training my Australian Shepard who is now 2+ years old. I have tried many products, all with no success and stains seemingly getting worse rather than better!I followed the FOR LARGE AREAS OR WHOLE ROOMS WITH MULTIPLE STAINS directions on the card that came with the product. I love love love the very thorough and multiple scenarios instructions!!! As instructed I used Destroyer as pre-treatment to using Rug Doctor with Chem-Girl Happy Carpet.As you can see in my 2 before and 2 after photos, the very old urine stains are completely gone and my carpet is very clean. I think the pictures say it all!!
