The Perfect Starter Guitar!
I had to make some tweaks to it, but for the price, itโs priceless. It stays in tune even though my son plays it really hard, and the intonation isnโt too bad. Also, the shorter 22โ scale makes it easier for my 9-year-old to play. Lastly, the action is really good as well, again making it easy for a beginner to play. All in all, itโs a perfect starter guitar for kids.

Feel like a rockstar
The perfect starter guitar for a child wanting to feel like a rockstar with a guitar built for someone a bit smaller.

Choose carefully
It would be a great little guitar if not for the horrible fret sprout. I have to have it serviced before I can let my kid play it. They are sharp and leave marks almost cut, surprised it didnโt cut me.

very good guitar
My son's guitar teacher picked this out for him and it is pretty awesome. The guitar has weight to it and it not flimsy or made poorly. He has been playing it for 6 mos now and it is still in great condition with great sound. The price on amazon is a lot less than the big box guitar stores.

All my instruments get a regular going over by an experienced guitar technician. I presented this instrument right out of the box for his opinion. He pronounced it reasonably well intonated, which he could tell by noting the adjustments at the bridge and then by testing by feel and sound. He said he might do a little something when it's time to change strings after it gets played for awhile but otherwise, he was very impressed by the guitar's construction and the condition of the neck. This guitar is now owned by a very lucky young left-handed boy pre-teen.

Lefty Mikro Ibanez Gio $199. 4.3/5 stars.
So I got it 1/13/21 which is today. I restrung it with ernie ball regular slinky, tuned it, adjusted the nut and set the bridge. Trust me you will have too or the strings will rattle on the frets! Needs serious adjusting out of the box. the left handed model of the ibanez gio micro guitar is decent. Has dual humbucker pickups with an adjustable nut and 5 way selector. Its very small especially for a small person! I'm 5 foot 5 inches and have small to medium sized hands and this guitar is uncomfortably small. The only reason I bought this is because its the only left handed ibanez I can find on Amazon. I prefer ibanez over any brand its my personal preference. Overall I think I can adapt to the size of the guitar and retrain my fingers to be able to play this guitar but it will take time. I give it a 4.3/5 stars.
