Read the reviews about the metal piece
Fits - but only if you deal with the metal piece. You can tell people either removed the old one from the stem, or they removed the new on in this knob. I removed the new one from the knob (I couldn't find it on the stem). You do need to use tweezer to ease it out of the new knob, and then you will be good to go. Weird. And I am sure there is a better way, but it solved a problem. Without the reviews I would never have thought of this.

Had to remove to metal to make it work
Very happy with purchase. I didn’t think it fit at first. But......it fit perfectly in my 2001 Suburban only after I removed the metal piece that lined the interior of the opening. (I had to use tweezers and pry it out.) Now my radio dial is like new!

It didn't fit despite the description saying it would fit.
The description said it would fit but it didn't. I have a 2002 Suburban and needed a power/volume knob and this did not fit.

Fits perfect if you remove the metal tip before installing the knob
So glad I found this knob on Amazon. I read the reviews that said the knob didn’t fit and they were sending it back. I also found reviews that said to remove the small metal tip first before installing the knob otherwise the knob will not fit. I tried putting on the knob without noticing the metal tip and the knob wouldn’t fit. I used my fingernail to pull the tip off and the knob fit perfectly. Thanks to those who gave the advice to remove the small metal tip prior to installing the knob.
