Not Easy To Install on ATH-R70xa... Great sound though! More bass, still killer mids & highs!
These do fit Audio Technica ATH-R70xa, even if the first installation it feels like they surely could not. There's a GREAT DEAL of stretching of the back to fit over the mounting ring on the ATH-R70xa. Yet, when carefully and patiently installed in a process that could take a while (and make sure to be careful not to damage any of the exposed internals when doing so!)... The fit is fantastic, and the sound quality has really impressed me. They add more lows without reducing the brilliant treble quality or overly suppressing the textured, refined midrange. When I put the stock pads back on to do an A/B comparison, I immediately missed the more powerful foundation that the headphones had with these pad replacements. Now, they are much thicker than the stock ATH-R70xa pads. If you keep your ear cups at the same adjustment level as the stock pads, they're going to add a ton of clamp and the clamp will be focused more on the top of your ears than the bottom. You can easily counteract this by just lengthening the ear cup adjustment arms. Once the pads can comfortably and fully envelop your ears with even pressure, you've got it. For me, this meant going from just one adjustment detent visible with the stock pads, to having three visible and close to seeing another one, using much more of the adjustment range available. Outcome: comfortable, great even pressure around the ears, making the most of the lightness of the ATH-R70xa. I think I'll pick up a few backups of these pads, maybe even try the perforated PU type as well. I'll definitely have to remember to be patient in trying to install them when it's time to change pads, but in the end, they fit!

Excellent fit for ATH-R50X, slight change to sound profile.
Reviewed while installed on ATH-R50X. First, I am not an audiophile. I like good sound gear, and can appreciate one set sounding far better than another, but I am not an audiophile. With that out of the way lets get into the review. These pads are far better than the stock ones, far more comfortable for wear for longer periods of time. Very comfortable. They improve the bass and maybe overemphasize the lower mids. The size is a perfect fit for my ATH-R50X, they are difficult to install, though this results in a secure tight fit. For the money they are very good value, and I would highly recommend them for those seeking improved comfort or deeper ear pads on the ATH R50X

Now my headphones are comfortable enough to wear all day.
I loved the sound of my SR850 headphones (#Dankpods) right out of the box, but they felt a little clamp-ish on my big ol' head and I needed to take frequent breaks. I added the hybrid PU/Velour version of these replacement ear pads and now they feel as great as they sound - no more head fatigue. Minor Cons - The pads were a little fiddly to install, but once on they seem quite solid. And it feels a little odd to spend half the price of the original headphones just for some new ear pads, but as mentioned above I can now get a lot more use out of them. Quite pleased I got them.

Sound signature changes.
The build quality and comforts is excellent. The sound quality however take a big hit. I bought one of each version of these pads for my ATH 990z's They fit perfectly but because the pads are so thick, the driver sits further from the year. You lose a lot of clarity and the volume goes down by as much as 50%. The ones without velour are the best when it comes to sound but only marginally. They retain more of the clarity but the volume is still affected, making the headphones sound very cheap.

PAIN to install, SUPERB comfort
Fisrt things first: when putting these on, watch some videos of people installing new pads so that you get an idea of technique and look for how much they have to stretch and wiggle them to get them on. It will definitely be frustrating the first time you replace a pair of headphone earpads, but it's not something you're going to have to repeat frquently. For comfort, these truly are amazing. They're def gonna increase the clamp feeling on your head, but they're so squishy that they'll compress a bit to ease up. It will definitely take some getting used to and a bit of gentle flexing on the headband periodically will help ease the clamp over time. As with headphones, pads that move the drivers away from your ears will increase the bass you hear, so get ready for this. Honestly, the Samson SR850 headphones definitely could use a bass boost already, so I find this to be a benefit. The default pads for these phones are a 1/10 comfort, and these big fluffs sit at 8+. Soft, just enough compression, fit well to the phones, and provide more comfort than I would expect from any default pair of headphones.

Comfortable replacement for the Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX
Old pads on my HE4XX headphones were getting worn from daily use. Found these and gave em a go for the affordable price and positive reviews. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with the comfort and sound. One thing to note if you have the HE4XX - I had to DIY a bit for the installation to work. The material on the back completely covered the clips on the mounting ring. This made it impossible to reattach to the headphones. I grabbed a blade and cut small indents where the clips are positioned on my mounting ring. Easy install after that.

Soft, comfy, even with my large noggin
I used these pads on a samson sr850b I got on sale sometime back, but I didn't like the stock velour pads. Read online about different pad options and chose these, seeing them squish and flex so much in other reviews. After getting them, I've been very pleased with them. Maybe it just spread out the clamp force more evenly or something, it's not near as fatiguing as stock. My ear has space inside the pad and doesn't touch the inner housing wall. The sound feels slightly more bassy compared to stock, though that just might be from the much nicer fit. It's really made me like these headphones so much more, just these pads changed so much! The sr850b has thin blue pads on the driver housing that were held in place by the stock pads. I stuffed those inside these earpads, covering the L/R lettering to give it back the blue look that I liked. Installing these pads wasn't too hard, though I did make use of a little plastic pry tool I had to scoop the outer ridge up and over the driver housing. Hopefully these last a long time, they feel like they will but this is an early review of them for me.

Do NOT fit HE400i
These do not fit the HE400i despite what the advertising says. The HE400i use a clip that is attached to the back of the ear pads to attach to the headphone, however, the product is typical slip over ear pads.

Fits my ATH-A900X but the sound is warm with slight loss of detail in mids and highs
As other reviewers stated - if you like warm sound, these are for you. For my Audio Technica ATH-A900X they increase the base (but not the boom - the resolution is still good) at the cost of some loss of detail for mids and primarily for highs. Guitars and cymbals are not that vivid anymore - nothing major and still much better than, e.g. Sennheiser PCX-550-II over AAC BT link. It's not good or bad - just a matter of preference; but they definitely change otherwise neutral sound of ATH-A900x to be more opinionated. Comfort level is very good though! P.S. My DAC/amp is iFi iDSD Nano.

Super Comfy and Breathable Ear Pads
Bought these to replace the stock Samson SR850 ear pads. These are absolutely a must buy for a cheap upgrade to the earphones. I was worried that they'd be hot but I was able to watch a 2 1/2 hour long movie in the middle of summer in a non-air conditioned room with zero sweaty ears! What can I say. If you're looking for new ear pads for your headphones and have ones that are compatible GET THESE. Don't waste your time with the other ones. Good price, great build quality and super comfort. Only negative where they are a very tight fit (which in the long run is good) but I spent quite a while getting them on trying to be careful so as to not tear them.

Great
It actually fits on some beyerdynamics dt770 pros which suprised me and didn’t change the sound in a noticeable way to my ears. Incredibly confortable, even more so than the 50$ velours pads that came with the dt770, and would 100% recommend these. The only grasp I could think of is durability, I don’t know if it’s going to last but only time will tell!

Exactement ce qui était attendu !
> Super confortable !
