Make learning new words more fun for middle-schoolers with The Vocabulary Workbook for 7th Grade . Review: A Great Resource - An excellent resource for home-schoolers or any parent/guardian who wants to give their child some additional practice with vocabulary, sentence structure and/or other grammatical skills. This book really makes kids think before they answer, which is the element I like the best. There are lots of contextual activities that "force" kids to learn vocabulary in a real-world context, rather than rote-memorization. It is listed as 7th grade, which I think is accurate. I found it perfect for my 6th grader to build upon what is learned in school and provide new challenges. Review: Great vocabulary workbook, especially for homeschool. - As a homeschool mom and teacher, I actually enjoyed this book. It was simply and effective, not overly exaggerated or difficult to understand. I just bought it to help my young teen brush up on vocabulary and meanings. We do vocabulary words weekly and this book is a great study guide to pull from. I highly recommend. If they use it daily it may last you a month or so.

Good book
This is a great vocabulary book. I bought it to add a vocabulary lesson to our homeschool curriculum. Lots of different ways in each lesson to practice the new words. We really like the 5 questions to ask a friend or family member feature, thatโs fun and a good way to get my son some communication practiceโฆ just wish that feature was on every lesson. Overall a good addition to our schedule this year.

Great for simple and efficient independent work. It is a great addition to expand vocabulary. Very simple instructions to encourage working without explanation.

Great tool for parents
I got this for my 6th grader going into 7th grade next year. I love the third multiple lessons for the same words. I plan to use them as spelling words. Also, incorporate into writing prompts. I noticed my son is a bit behind in ELA. He's going to be in advanced math next year. Hopefully this will give him a boost to feel more confident in ELA.

Great purchase
Nice book. Advanced enough for my daughter. Sheโs 12. I just needed a book for after school work and this is good enough

Helpful
I have my son who is 12 do a vocabulary lesson a day. It is comprehensive. I do feel like it became mundane. Not sure how many vocab words he will actually use. The expose to the words was good and the conversations that came out of explaining certain words was meaningful.
