Bottom plate doesn’t stick out too far
Modern springform pans seem to have huge bottom plates that stick out enough that they don’t fit in my cupboard….I’ve used Kaiser springform pans since the early 70’s…still my favorite for long term wear and continuous performance. The new anti-stick finish seems to perform well, but I suspect I’ll need to treat it carefully.

BEST for Cheesecake
If you are going to make cheesecake, invest in a good pan ... AND THIS IS THE PAN. I have several sizes that I have used for years, and never had a failure or any leakage. I have also found, the secret to a good/perfect cheesecake is to turn off the oven when baking time is up, then keep the cheesecake in the oven until the oven has cooled. Works like a charm.

No leaks, great quality
This is my first springform and I love it. It's made in Germany and is great. I chose an 8" size and then discovered 9" recipes are more prevalent. Eh! No biggie. The 8" worked wonderfully well. There actually are a few 8 inches recipes to be found. Love it!
