Good product

These replacement spools work almost as good as the B&D brand but are only about 1/5th the price. I'm very happy with them and have bought them twice in the last 2 years. They cut fine and advance as they should. There is no good reason not to buy them.

Works as well as original at a much lower price

This is the equivalent of the original line included on the trimmer. It is very reasonable for the difference between it and the manufacturer's replacement cost. I haven't had to replace it yet, but I am hopeful about the ability to complete more area trimming with about 1/2 the cost of the original.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the trimmer line. It's the correct size, and it cuts weeds. If you have a Black and Decker trimmer with the easy feed button, as I do, these spools do not seem to work correctly. I replaced my original black and decker spool with one of these, and the easy feed system immediately stopped working, causing me to have to take it apart every few minutes and manually pull out more line. Looking at the two spool brands, I can't see any major design differences between them...at all. It just doesn't work, so something is off. If you have any other standard weed eater, this is good line. If you have an easy feed trimmer, just buy the company brand. Saves much hassle.
