Protected from damage by plastic wrap

I'm very happy with these, they look great styled on my tv stand and I have enjoyed reading through them. As some other folks have mentioned, the printed pattern on top of the fabric binding is susceptible to coming off. The first picture of the book was right after purchase and the sticker took a bit off as well as left a mark from the adhesive. The second picture shows the effect of spilling water on the book (my bad) and then leaving the book slightly damp on the counter to dry, which caused more of the pattern to lift off and left a water stain. It doesn't bother me as I don't mind that my books look as well loved as they are, and I imagine serious collectors wouldn't be as careless as spilling water on a book so probably won't encounter any issues aside from removing the sticker.

I have been thinking about ordering this set of books for a while now. I am a big Jane Austen fan and wanted a beautiful set to display and also to re-read. After reading many reviews for this set, I was hesitant because many of the reviews had very bad covers with paint missing on the cover printing and stickers that left spots when removed. I got my set today and am very pleased that none of this was true with the set that I received. The set was wrapped nicely in plastic. When I took the plastic off and looked at each book in the set, they were in perfect condition and none of them had any stickers on them.

Encuadernados de telas con estampados preciosos, hojas gruesas, notas, prólogos y presentaciones de cada libro en su interior de la época en qué salieron las obras originales. No tienen etiquetas de precios en los libros por lo que no tuve el problema de que al despegar se fuera el estampado. Creo que han tenido en cuenta este aspecto.

Ideal para fans de Jane Austen

I'm not reviewing Jane's wrok. The shipment was ok and the general look of books too. There weren't any stickers on te back and books are well made except those tree. The P and P hurts me the most, that dent on pages and also this ridge but i was expecting something worst based on opinions. If u're not scared to spend some money on books and on the covers then spend it but dont be surprised with a few damages. I've seen a lot of reviews about descening print. Nothing is coming of yet but we will see. However i have to admit the covers are rly pretty and the pages too. The font is perfect. I would say that the inside is compensates the damages on the outside.
