Perfect for 20 gallon aquarium fish tank dividers
I had ordered different ones previously, but this brand has far superior quality. The plastic is thicker and stronger with better grip and less floppy, yet still easily cut with a razor blade knife. I ordered the 1/8" wide 20 sheet size that fits very sleek and nice over plastic mesh adding strength and rigidity to the walls. Photos show the old ones (larger size, flimsier plastic) and the C-Line slide and grips (smaller width, stronger plastic). I am very pleased with the C-Line product and now I have 100 of these so enough to last me forever and to share with other fish keeper friends.

Very nice!
One of the things we do at Sourdoughhome.com is sell cookbooks. At first, we only sold ebooks. Some people wanted them printed, so we needed to find a way to bind them.At first, we used much more expensive products, because that's what our local office supply house carried. We were running into problems because the clips were really designed for 25 sheet books, and we were well over 30.At some point we started looking for more cost effective options. One of the things that sold us on the C-Line product is they had several different spines, so we could select an appropriately sized spine for the cookbook we are shipping to our customers. The 34227 is great for up to 60 page documents. Another is good for smaller documents. Many times people worry what they will give up when they buy a less expensive product. Is the name brand product (which shares my name) really better? We've found the C-Line product to be at least as good as the name brand product, and we're more than happy to pocket the savings! If we love the product so darn much, why didn't we give it 5 stars? It may not be fair, but at times it is hard to put the spines over the clear plastic report covers, and we wind up cutting the plastic covers. We had the same issue with the name brand product. And since the spines are held in place by friction, I think it's just part of the overall picture - some won't work right. But, it'd be great if the entry to the spine was a little smoother.Oh - our oddest use for the spines - we lost the blade guard for our bread knife. One of the spines does a great job!

Hold wonderfully and they stack flatter than other methods
My business has produced booklets of all types for over 30 years. We have a large corporate account that requested this type of bindery specifically for HR booklets, otherwise I would have never tried them. My concern was that these would not hold as well as other methods we do in-house: stitching, Wire-O or coil. But I was wrong and they hold wonderfully and they stack flatter than other methods which is great for shipping or storing.A couple years ago, one of our projects was comprised of a clear plastic cover, 10 interior sheets and a black vinyl backer sheet. The plastic front and back were very slippery. At first we tried other binding bars purchased from Office Depot. But they were molded out of thinner plastic causing them to be weak and not hold pages securely. Then I found C-Line Slide 'N Grip binder bars on Amazon. They are less expensive and manufactured in the US, so I took a chance and ordered them. These binding bars held all the sheets very tightly even if you shook the booklet a bit.For best results slip them on from either the top or bottom of your booklet and progress downward or upward. Pushing the pages in sideways does not produce the best results.Bulk packedNice matte black color resists fingerprints

Hard to get started on to 38 pages
They work great but if you are trying to use them on 38 pages you can't just slide them on. You have to pry open the end to get the pages all in. It was challenging but i finally found something to hold it open while I started the booklet.

Love them! Work Great!!!
Before purchasing these, I had read several of the reviews by other. Many complained about how difficult they were to put on the pages.I have not found that to be true. Yes, they are a tight fit, but that is how they hold the pages together, by being a tight fit. If they weren't tight, they wouldn't work.I found that I could line all my pages up, pry open one corner of the binding bar to start it on the top edge of my pages, then it slides down the length of the pages perfectly. My project (a film script) is 56 pages total, and the clips are holding and make the script look much more professional than if I had used the typical three-hole punch and brass fasteners.

Used them in a way they were not intended.
We used these to protect sharp edges of a custom Guinea pig enclosure. They work well for that.
