Product description The cool gel pad helps to relieve the symptoms of overheating. This includes temperatures caused by flu and fevers, but also hot flushes as a result of menopause. Helps relieve the symptoms of people with restless leg syndrome, acne, eczema, migraine, sunburn, as well as for those who are simply just to warm naturally! Indications Relief of symptoms associated with flu, fevers, hot flushes, restless leg syndrome, acne, eczema, migraine, sunburn, and naturally warm individuals Directions Place under the pillow for a cooler sleep. Can be frozen to speed up cooling. No specific positioning or securing instructions. No mention of treatment durations or precautions. Review: The cooling effect is invaluable - Women of a certain age, or just anybody really during the recent hot weather, will know how difficult it is to cool down at certain times. I already had 3 gel packs I bought elsewhere a few years back, but I decided to get more due to the hot weather. I use one on my pillow to cool the base of my neck (lying on my back), place one across my abdomen, and press one across the top of my face/forehead - it's absolute bliss when suffering from being so hot. I find that using 3 at a time in this way really helps to cool me down. With these latest additions to my collection I'll probably use a 4th one underneath my back to complete the ensemble. I'm going to be keeping a pile of 8 gel packs in total by my bedside at night so that I can just switch out the set I've warmed up and replace with the spare cold ones. Other people may not need so many, as having one on the pillow does help a lot with keeping your head cool, but for the weather and my age, these used together as described help me sleep better, undoubtedly. I packed a couple in my suitcase when I last went on holiday and was very glad I did - they helped cool me enough to get off to sleep. I will say that you don't technically need to put these in the fridge for them to cool you, although, if you want them super cold then you could do that. But obviously you have to keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources for them to be cool enough to work if they're not in the fridge. I don't usually put mine in the fridge, I just keep them folded in a bedside drawer, and take them out when I need to use them (then clean with damp cloth the next morning ready for re-use at night again). They cool me fairly well without having been in the fridge - so chilling them definitely isn't essential, it's all down to preference and individual circumstances. With gel packs I have never found that they last the entire night, because obviously they do warm up over time as you keep them on your face/body, and that's why I've got the spare set to swap out in this hot weather. By the time I warm up the spare set, I am hoping that the first set will have cooled back down again to be re-used if needed. I have lost count of how many times I have used my gel packs over the years, I think they are a great investment and I wouldn't be without them. Review: Great product - Not the most comfortable at first but soon got used to it . Easy to use , just Pop it inside your pillowcase . Amazing how cool it feels and helps you sleep on hot nights . I would say it stays cool for a couple of hours . I changed mine over in the night . No need to refrigerate.

Not large
I use these at the bottom of my bed every night to keep my feet cool. They aren't large but they do the job and I'm glad I got them. No problems here.

Cooler and helps with pain relief
Absolutely brilliant product....I wish I had found it years ago. It took me a few nights to get the correct comfort positioning in my pillow cases but that was just personal preference. I have them in both pillows to swap about. Great as a cooler and to relieve headaches. I highly recommend them.

Worth Keeping
This product works well at first but absorbs the heat and doesnโt release it very well, I need to try putting them in the freezer or fridge but Iโm a germaphobe, Iโm guessing they would work more effectively and efficiently if I used that method especially, as Iโm very long and wide it may work better at dispersing heat if I was smaller, when I lose weight and if I remember I will give you an update, Iโve not tried it for pain relief may give that a go too.
