**Q: What is the difference between the LBXR2020 and the LBXR2020-OPE ? Both are 20V 2.0 Ah.**
A: I recently (5-4-2020) asked this same question to Black & Decker Customer Service. Jonathan at B & D replied: 
OPE stands for Outdoor Power Equipment and it has a slightly longer runtime. They are both compatible with all 20V tools and charger.

**Q: how kong should it take to charge 20 volt battery**
A: takes 5 or 6 hours to charge every time.  I get one hour of HARD chain saw use out of the battery.  bought a spare battery and have never had any job that can't be done with 1 1/2 battery's of use.

**Q: Do I need a special charger for the LBXR2020-OPE 2.0 Ah lithium battery, or does the one that comes with my B&D drill work?**
A: The L2AFC-OPE 20V Max Fast Charger is recommended.

**Q: will this replace hpb12**
A: No, however HPB12 is available for purchase online or by contacting us direct.

I've looked high and low for a Black+Decker battery for my Black+Decker weed whacker that would fully snap in the slot and work, and the one Amazon sent me today works, and it made my day. The after market ones I bought work in my leaf blower, but not the weed whacker. According to Black+Decker support the same battery should work in both my devices. When I ordered the after market ones with the same code it worked in one device, but not the other. I was beginning to feel I'd never find a new battery to fit the weed whacker, and would have to toss it out. So I just want everyone to know to keep looking for the same model battery, you just might have to find an original Black+Decker battery to get it to work.
